My only concern about Still or any of the other greenhorns in the frame is the risk factor, nobody knows how quickly he's going to take to the league and manage the weight of expectation of a club our size.

Seems to be a fairly exciting choice and it'd be reassuring to think that we got the bloke we wanted as Dreyfus and Speakman aren't daft. I'm looking forward to seeing what whoever it is can do.

We've got previous for players signing, or signing new contracts, and it not getting released for a while after.

Wouldn't be surprised if Still has agreed weeks ago and it only comes out later.

personally don’t think it’s that in this instance, seeing he was at Norwich earlier in week.

I think if he’d signed already, he’d have been at the Tottenham Hotspur stadium today.

I believe the ITK story that it’s close and on track. But don’t think it’s there yet.

haha come on if anything was agreed it would be announced would just be a subject too a work permit/clearance job
Wasn’t the snake not announced, and a picture was taken at the train station with him with the sunderland kit on. So we have done it before, so you are wrong saying that.

I refuse to get excited about any of our so called head coach targets.

We used to attract actual proven managers, no matter what league we were in.

Now everyone is excited over managers that have either zero games experience or one season. Its total bonkers.

We have had our fair share of unproven managers. At least at clubs like ours. In my time Smith, Crosby, Butcher, Buxton, Keane, DiCanio,Grayson Coleman, Ross all far from proven at clubs our size.

I may have missed this, but where did it say he'd been at Norwich this week? I thought it said he'd been there. He may have been there a couple weeks ago but the Norwich press are releasing it now. Still couldn't have been that close to Norwich when they're appointing a new manager.

At Heathrow. Keeping an eye out for ginger Belgians.

We haven't had a young manager with experience of working within our new model yet, so it would be a good indication of whether it's actually working.
