Might sound arrogant but if anyone would choose them over us then we don’t want them anyway.

I don’t think he’ll go there anyway personally.
I disagree but that’s just how the club have made me feel recently. Interesting few days ahead, anyway…

"Already done between Still and his brother to come. Few minor details with regards to his staff but nothing to be concerned about is the word."
Is the word from who though?

My money would be on Still coming here just based on ITKs on here that have no reason to lie, however I just don't understand why no journalist is saying anything in regards him coming here, while two Norwich based BBC journos are saying he's been at their training ground. It doesn't make sense.

Here's the Norwich local press saying Will Still has been at Norwich's training ground this week, and already has an existing relationship with their Technical Director

"Will Still. Definitely been at Colney this week and spoken to about the [HASHTAG]#NCFC[/HASHTAG] vacancy. Pre-existing relationship with Ben Knapper, who gave him Folarin Balogun on loan. Norwich continuing to speak to candidates this week."
Isn't exploring other jobs just sensible business practice, when you look at the situation objectively? He may be 98% sure of joining us but needs to keep other irons in the fire in case it falls through.

"Sunderland's search for a head coach remains ongoing. Still was a strong contender for the role following Tony Mowbray's departure in December, but did not feature prominently in the initial stages of their search this time round. It remains to be seen if that has changed or will change in the days and weeks ahead."

Phil smith again saying we aren't looking at him

Its not arrogant but perhaps niaive to assume we are the great opportunity our fans would like to think we are.

From the outside its perfectly reasonable to assess our job as being a poisoned chalice. The narrative around the club from the outside is that the fans and owners expectations far outweigh our budget. We are famous for not giving managers time. And recently we are famous for only signing youth.

So I'm not at all surprised that managers would look at other championship clubs ahead of us. Certainly ones who have finished significantly higher than us in the most recent season

Nail on the head. We’ve been in L1 for 4 seasons then had a half decent season in an otherwise ****e championship and all of a sudden we’re apparently the envy of world football. Norwich are a massive club at this level and will be amongst the favourites for promotion no doubt.

Bang on. Some of our support think we’re a lot bigger and better than we currently are.

That is a very clever post that. Goes along massively with the idea that he wasn’t available until he walked away from Reims
