I'll wait and see re the Norwich link but regardless I'd find it disappointing if we go into June no further forward with a head coach. I know the players dont come back til mid June but I want the new man to have as much time as possible to get into the role heading into preseason. We've had since the middle of February to identify someone and if we end up loosing out on our supposed main target to Norwich then I'd be losing a lot of faith in the structure we've got in place. Fingers crossed we hear some good news over the weekend.
So you'd have a meltdown at the club because we didn't appoint someone that some message board/twitter randoms said we were in for?
We need to sit tight..decision expected soon one way or the other...
Could be a move to pressure/negotiate a position.

Meltdowns are part and parcel of some people’s lives m8, owt for dramatic effect.
IMO would be really poor by those responsible for the appointment of a head coach if the players come back without a head coach in place. Cant see that happening if im honest though.

Has to be the manager’s choice who he wants or indeed doesn’t want , personally I would leave them in situ make up my own mind and see what if anything they had to offer before making my mind up KEEP or GET RID but it would have to be my decision . They may have something to offer but being sentimental can get in the way hence why I would take my time and have a settling in period before my decision , in fairness most Managers want their own staff if he does that’s got to happen .
I agree, once the lads finally come back in late May, you'd seriously expect KLD to have cracked the whip and got things sorted.
They don't but several of them will be asking their agents to put out the feelers if the uncertainty continues too long. Once those wheels are in motion it's hard to rein back in.
He's saying we are "further down the line than others" which is what you'd expect as we've been vacant longer.
We need to be over the line.

I mean its saying something that the first leak by an actual journalist that WIll Still is talking to anyone is for Norwich.
