So the only link still has at Norwich is knapper once loaned him a player from arsenal. That's it then he's away there now, we can't match that.<doh>
If I was still I’d be checking out the options before committing. It’s different for us being fans.

Here's the Norwich local press saying Will Still has been at Norwich's training ground this week, and already has an existing relationship with their Technical Director

"Will Still. Definitely been at Colney this week and spoken to about the [HASHTAG]#NCFC[/HASHTAG] vacancy. Pre-existing relationship with Ben Knapper, who gave him Folarin Balogun on loan. Norwich continuing to speak to candidates this week."
I'm generally in agreement with your points but it's a stretch to refer to it as an existing relationship, Still wasn't directly involved in that side of recruitment at Reims was he?

Edit: scratch that, I see Knapper was loans manager at Arsenal so probably would have been liaising with Still a fair bit.

Using my extensive knowledge of ferries, I think he'd have to drive to Hull or Dover to get a ferry to Belgium. And as there are no motorways in Norfolk that would be a pain in the arse.

Can someone tell him this, to try and put him off?
Felixstowe?

I wouldn't be happy if he did to be fair.
The reality is they finished higher than us and were in touching distance of the premier league. We have more potential. Tangible promotion opportunity provides a quicker opportunity to compete at the top and earn more. Last years collapse can’t have helped. I would want to know and believe in the plan and not rely on people talking a good game.

My personal choice from day 1 was Will Still, I thought it'd be a great coup for a club like ours, but as time passes I'm worried about what happens when we hit a bit of bad form, lose consecutive games and the hounding starts. That's okay when you've got a manager beneath your status who you can sack willy nilly, but not so much someone who has come in for the project and expects to be here for a few years, shîtty form is a normal part of football, even the best go through it, but especially clubs like ours who are not Man City.

"Sunderland's search for a head coach remains ongoing. Still was a strong contender for the role following Tony Mowbray's departure in December, but did not feature prominently in the initial stages of their search this time round. It remains to be seen if that has changed or will change in the days and weeks ahead."

Phil smith again saying we aren't looking at him
FFS of course he didnt, he was still employed at that stage and they wanted £5 million compo

Pretty sure I heard that they have to look to get rid of players, having not gone up.... could be wrong

I personally think they aren't as good as people are saying they are and we need their influence gone tactics wise. The squad could really do with a clean slate and something new
Genuinely don't know how anyone on here can judge dodds or proctor and the roles they are meant to be carrying out. Dodds was well respected and thrust into a first team managers job with zero support. I've no idea if proctor is a good coach or not.
