Really interesting ro hear some of his thoughts on the season. He was very measured but also it is noticeable that he mentioned about learning especially how to fit in and settle in and he only came from Birmingham, how these guys who hardly speak English are managing day to day it must be hard and Jobe is saying he is starting to feel a part of it now.
Makes me a little more optimistic for next season even before the transfer window.

Wouldn’t complain if he didn’t sign permanently. Bang average.

I remember us being linked with Styles before Beale came in,so the prospect was already there and Beale most likely just welcomed it.
As far as we are aware, the loan came with an option to buy, which,as yet,we haven't taken up,so Styles has gone back to Barnsley.
Nixon hasn't posted that story, instead drawing a different picture and not the full picture at that. This is where he, and twats like him, let themselves and everyone else down....and they wonder why no-one trusts them.

Wouldn't disagree, but I don't think the lad had a fair crack at it . He was played out of position most of the time, and he looked like a fish out of water.

Starting holding midfielder for an international side that haven't lost since 2022 and topped their qualification group for the Euros, keeps a Union Berlin midfielder out of the side as well, yet we shove him at left back and left wing back.

Strange one this. I was told when he came that Barnsley were trying to find a way to get him out of the club and, hopefully, get a decent fee for him. I'm not sure that's the case but I doubt he'll stay there. I think he has talent but perhaps not the application.

Watched a young CF yesterday who is worth us monitoring (not saying for this summer as i know we need someone who can hit the ground running but potentially one in the future)

Dzenan Pejcinovic - around 6.2 and physically really strong, goal machine at youth level and already played a few times for Wolfsburg 1st team.

Remains me a little of Haaland, in that he isnt interested joining in to link play but comes alive in the box. Shoots 1st time with both feet and always seems to find the corners

    Youth level this season:
    Germany u19 played 5 scored 7
    Wolfsburg u19 played 18 scored 28
Has only played 35 mins of senior football this season but is a very talented forward

Not at the minute, but he could quickly become expensive if he keeps playing 1st team minutes

Likely to cost around 2-3 million at the minute

There's a high chance we'll dip into the french market again. There's a few on frees we could possibly go after?

    Ibrahima Sissoko cdm massive 26
Steve Mounie St 29 played in England before

    All guess work like.
We also tend to go for players entering into there final year so might be worth looking into whose contract expires in 2025

Mounie could be inspired or the new Jozy.

BTW the links of Young to Notts County are insane, a good example of how highly rated he is if he's keeping goal in League 2 at 18 year old. There'll be BIG bids next summer if he does well there.

Yeah he was hit and miss at Huddersfield. Just plucking names tbh.

Young is really highly rated. We must have the best academy in Europe for producing keepers, even the lesser ones we've had, have had decent careers. Ones playing at Wembley in 20 minutes.

Harrison Bond and Richardson were highly rated too but then Young has came along. Obviously Bell went to Man City too or possibly Chelsea. Can't remember.

I’m doubtful about Styles but largely because Dodds ballsed up with him. Even when it was blatantly obvious he should be dropping into the middle he got used on the left. I wouldn’t sign him for where we played him but haven’t seen him for us in the position he appears better elsewhere. I think I’m tempted to say no but I’ve liked him in the middle elsewhere.

Danny Batth available on a free. I’m sure he’ll get himself a decent move

Could see him dropping to L1, struggled a lot in the games i saw him play this season - looked nowhere close to the player he was with us last yr

If im a Wrexham im doing everything i can to bring him in - great leader, top bloke and i think he would be class in L1
