He’s just let Allsopp know he doesn’t rate him , so he improves at shot stopping or he doesn’t play . Christ, I was in sales for a lot of years and you were told you weren’t doing enough many a time - unfortunately I couldn’t call on my mental health to fall back on I just thought last night he just about answered everyone , the Liam bashers , the player bashers , the crowd bashers , the method of playing bashers and so on - maybe you all got your presents ! LOL
Some teams supporters create atmosphere before a ball has been kicked. Unfortunately in this country we are more restrained and a lot of our supporters appear to be introverts.
Seen some weird takes on last night. One is people arguing "He's only saying what we've been saying." Err yeah. That's not good though is it? Bleating the same complaints that online forum users make, when you're the actual owner of the club, and letting it inform your decision making.
Yep, I said it before Ipswich. It was obviously going to be the biggest atmosphere of the season. It was the first time in years we had a game with a genuinely exciting outcome riding on it.
Yeah and our ex coach got us there it was not just that some or he thought the football was boring some of it was outstanding and there was improvement in the team and league position getting to where we did only goes to show what a good job LR did , it was because we never got promoted that is the crunch of it no matter how you look at it.
Our run in re games won was abysmal. We should have got in the play offs. The atmosphere would have built a lot earlier if we actually had looked like a play off team. We didn’t get going at home which should to be our advantage. We gave the away team far too much time to set their stall out. When you have no attacking mentality at home it give them time to think. The chance was blown.
LR was without some main players for whatever reason injury or Afcon some even not mentally right for a period of time which did not help also having players thrust on you that you never asked for just because someone thought we will bring in these players that should get the fans making a noise does not help and as we saw things started going pear shaped after that window he should have been left alone to do the job he was brought in to do and play the team he wanted to play to much interference if you can't let a manager do his job and you think you know better then do it yourself and see how that works out for you.
If he reads all social media, he should know the one thing that nobody wants, is him interfering with the running of the team. I understand 100% what he said about Rosie & the football we played. But it’s up to the manager who he plays & doesn’t play. By all means say the football was boring, but don’t come out saying, this player should be played. It’s not your job. Change the manager for the boring football, not for not picking a player you signed in a disastrous first transfer window, when you played Football Manager in real life & found out it wasn’t easy.
Carvalho was one he definitely wanted in and said how excited he was even before he was announced as in the building. We have absolutely no idea whether he wanted the others.
Acun didn't pick who plays and isn't saying he wants to!! He did let Rosenior make his own decisions, but along the way asked questions which is surely his right. Those decisions by Rosenior have ultimately led to Roseniors downfall (due to mostly boring football, going backwards with 3 wins in 13 & too many draws, being generally poor at home, choosing not to play with strikers, sticking so hard to a possession / ball retention style rather than a more attack minded one, etc). I honestly don't see the issue.
Yep, although you'll know that by your analyticals, that said I seldom view YouTube when logged on to it. The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily mine.
I find that our longer episodes actually tend to get more views. I suspect people see 20-30 minute episodes and think there's not enough discussion to be worth watching. Maybe those do better as podcasts, not sure. But our last three eps that have all run between 55-70 mins have averaged about 170 views whereas the three before that which went about 35-40 mins averaged 80 views. No idea if it's the same for THAB.
