Not sure about " desperate" but I think Amad did say he enjoyed his time here and wouldn't have a problem with coming back.
I'm relaxed if its 3 weeks considering the appointee is probably in work. Any longer and its ridiculous.

All I know is that Fishpaste and Romano were going back and forth a bit over Amad signing for us on loan - Romano basically called out Fishpaste for being incorrect and Amad ended up staying.
Might have remembered that wrong though as I say.
I think someone has already mentioned that Speakman is contracted up to 30th June. As you say, given how busy this period is, and like many I'm only speculating, maybe the new DOF is working with KLD on the new Head Coach and new player appointments and Speakman is taking care of the releasing of players at this end and the overseeing of our junior teams.
I think the new Head Coach will be in place within the next week or two, leaving 5 weeks for the handover to happen. That's more than enough time to have things right for the new season, assuming the new DOF gets some of the new players appointments in early.

I reckon they've got there man but have to wait to announce it. If it's Maric, he's coming from Bayern Munich, not the Dog and Duck.
I'm not looking forward to the nonsense that is going to get spouted in this 3 week void though.
Did the club say this or was it just speculation? Much like Fishpaste's announcement.
Wonder if they do choose Maric from Bayern and wait till there season is done, wonder if it’s a double deal and Barry comes as his assistant etc or the other way round and maric is Barry’s assistant

There's no reason it can't be announced though. I agree with people saying 3 weeks is fine if this was last summer but there is so much business to be done and with all the tournaments and other distractions we are starting on the back foot.
