Would be a blow that. Not sure why the delay, but would be a worry for me.
Only takes us to the end of this month, it’s a long season you’d imagine a lot of people are away on holiday so things are naturally slow this time if year, no need to panic just yet
Me too about Maric,and I really hope for an early announcement,but I don't think it will come. Other leagues aren't finished yet,International tournaments notoriously hold everything up,and most contracts in this business run to the end of June. I think our retained list could well be prepared by Dodds,heavily influenced by Speakman's contractual input,even if he's on his way,as some have suggested. Our scouting reports will already have been done and any potential additions to the squad are very unlikely to be completed early,particularly if any moves from PL clubs for any of our players are delayed.
I'm desperately hoping I'm miles off track, as is usual in my life,but, my advice would be for everyone to temper their expectations and accept a few weeks of nothing more than the usual intrigue and rumours.
Presumably they are waiting for the various leagues around Europe to finish so they are then allowed to potentially speak to coaches currently in employment. It's not really "a worry"
That's not surprising to be honest, especially if it is someone coming from an overseas club. Most of our players will be off on holiday anyway.

I didn’t mind him when in charge for the couple of games when Mowbray left. Against good sides we played well and did exactly what was needed. But since Beale he has been utterly terrible. I get that we were on poor form etc, but changing a team and dropping players after a good performance (notably Chris Rigg) then leaving Patto out last game.
He can **** off. Then when he’s done ****ing off, he can **** off some more! Continue in simile ad infinitum!

That was my first thought, tbf. Clubs have managed to do it. Liverpool have sorted Slot out whilst he’s still in work. 3 weeks is quite a long time - by which point Beale will have left 4 months ago…
Yeah it's not as if we've just let Beale go. 4 months without a head coach. Not good enough.
If its an overseas coach then I fully expect nothing official until end of season for the main leagues. weekend of the 18th.

3 weeks indicates to me its someone currently employed, in some capacity. Just waiting for the season to finish
Contractural issues marra. For all we know the decision has been made for a while,offers made and accepted, just not able to be announced yet.
