I think we’ll stay where we are but how the improvements are done, what the capacity will be and where we play if we need to temporarily move out I’ve got no idea. Probably depends on just how much the owners want to throw at the project.
Perhaps it will have to wait until 25/26 due to spending restrictions for one more season until they are changed.
I'm pretty sure outgoings on infrastructure such as stadium upgrades, training facilitues, etc. sit outside of the financial restrictions.
Building a stadium doesn't go against FFP, unless you end up debted up the hilt doing it. Pretty sure it's the interest on loans that you get shafted for.
Sure they've said was going to be after Euro 28. Suppose if option C was used they could start before then, once the battle v the tree huggers has been won.
Hasn’t the Quayside land been sold for residential development to some third party? Looking at it rationally I think if we can get the Freemen onside, and there is a suggestion that that is possible, then it has to be Option C. Can’t see the Saudi’s wanting to build a mongrel ground with three large sides and one small’ish side as opposed to a ‘statement’ ground. Also, we can’t possibly have PB in the front row with Hamish six feet under.
The youtubers have all been theorising a bit too much on this. They look at a couple of suggested ideas and sights and draw a conclusion. The reality is nobody knows anything significant.
I watched an interview with some wifey that was very clear that things have softened regarding leazes Park because of funding issues. They would be keen under certain agreements to build a new park and renovate things they haven't been able to.. coin basically.
Yeah I've seen it, she's the chair of Friends of Leazes Park, a city councillor, and lives on Leazes Terrace. She's now on the new Fan advisory board too. Yet the club want us to believe people were randomly selected for the fan board
I think the Freeman, council and other political groups will bend over backwards to keep it in the city centre The prospect of taking it 3,4, 5 or so miles away will hurt the council and businesses within the city centre big style
Having witnessed what Schlem did in the queue on Saturday, couple of pints and he might think about it
