The most recent of whom was?
Abel
Oh look orange…I’m agreeeing with you, not an argument in sightI’m thinking Stuart Elliott, Danny Allsopp was then Abel at championship level
Nikica Jelavic is Hull City’s highest Premier League goalscorer. Ever.
Oh look agreeing with you again orange and not an argument stillErmmm who’s arguing, you’re talking about proven strikers at the level we are/were at. I’m agreeing and saying the players I’ve named were proven at the levels. Which goes back years….which was your point
Fair enough, I misunderstood your intent. Apologies.Oh look agreeing with you again orange and not an argument still
Takes a mean penner too.Winger Kamil sub for Poland could be useful LOL
He is definitely doing a decent job and this season is an improvement overall. But you're also correct....the question mark is over whether or not he can take us to the next stage and also sort out the goal scoring. He deserves the chance to start it next season.
I swear you said the exact same thing 12 months ago and we're doing fine.
And 12 months on, he's not solved the goal scoring issue or taken us to the play offs ( yet )..... But I'm pretty sure I said I didn't think he was experienced and good enough to take us up, which I'm still not convinced he is at this stage of his career.
You might think he has solved it and will take us into the play off, which you're completely entitled to
Who would you bring in, out of interest?
ATM, nobody, as I've said more then once tonight, I think LR deserves to start next season with us and have one more window ( summer ) to sort out the goal scoring issue. If after that he doesn't solve it and or continue the improvement shown this season then serious questions will be asked
That's fair enough. So what makes you think that both he and the squad won't develop further?
But it clearly wasn't based on an extensive knowledge of his ability was it, it can only have been based on someone else's say so.
I'm just not sure he knows how to/has the experience needed solve the goal scoring issue based on the (almost)season and a halfs evidence since he's been here. But the improvements he's given us in other areas means he deserves the chance to solve it..... I also think he needs to get better at picking up positive results against teams that set up to sit back and let us have possession. We all to often this season look like we have no idea on a plan to counter it and break them down
I reckon he’ll have watched a couple of games he played, Rosenior is nothing if not thorough. I doubt he’ll have signed him off the back of a YouTube highlight reel and fifa stats so will have known what he was getting.
Ermmm who’s arguing, you’re talking about proven strikers at the level we are/were at. I’m agreeing and saying the players I’ve named were proven at the levels. Which goes back years….which was your point
Orange thinks everyone is arguing with him even when they're agreeing with him.

Seems we have something in common then![]()
Plenty more 'experienced' coaches have struggled with the same thing at the sharp end of the championship.
Personally, I think stability is key to it clicking in the final 3rd. And we've had a lot of churn in those areas. Necessary churn I'd argue, but you don't get max potential from the sum of those parts in just the 8 or 9 games they've been together, and if we'd managed to keep Delap fit, then I think it'd have been easier for some of the Jan signings to fit into an existing structure than have to forge a practically new one of their own.
