Above.... he's basically said Noah was not. is not ready.... we got him on loan... is the intention to buy him and put him in the U21's...??? ffs.. he's a manager trying to take team to the premiership who needed a striker in LD absence and they took a punt on a, and I quote a 'great kid'... similarly with Sharp, he accepts he hasn't been fit!!!... its just ridiculous.,. and Connolly... lets not go there, because everything he's written says he's not fit or right in the head...

Interesting he called out Ohio's inability to maintain possession.

No, he was a cheap gamble that if it worked, great, if it didn't, oh well, not much wasted. Sharp was brought in before Delap's injury.

If he (Sharp) was, then it makes the decision making even more baffling and frustrating!!
    TC nails it. Ridiculous.

What do you mean if? Sharp signed in late December, Delap played against Sheff Weds on NYD.

There's a lot of straws being clutched at in that interview, a lot of trying to justify poor decisions in the transfer market and a lot of waffle about metrics and trying to "peak" at the right time..... The glaring and matrics that count are we don't score enough, we are outside the playoffs and it's no longer in our hands..... By the time we "peak" it may be to late.

I'm sure I'll be classed as hating him and having a personal vendetta, but that is a poor interview ( although it may just come across that way if it's a snippet of something larger )

And for for a guy who claims he doesn't care about things said online, he always seems to let it bug him a tad

Wasn't it Baz who went to him due to what was said online, rather than Rosenior asking for it?

That's Rosie admitting clearly that the three strikers we've got are, for three different reasons, not at the standard required for the top half of the Championship (or probably the entire Championship for that matter).

It's nothing new or startling; it's been as plain as a pikestaff for weeks.

So for the run in, it's false nine all the way - unless Delap comes back - but I fear that's wishful thinking.

Sharp as an impact sub when one's required (Good. Should never be seen as anything else).

Ohio? Not going to suddenly become an instinctive position aware, super presser with the ability to hold the ball up and bring others into play in a month - so that option's gone.

Connolly? The riddle wrapped in an enigma, bundled within a puzzle. Can't see that being solved in a matter of weeks either.

Waffle waffle and over complicating it to try and bullshit his way out of giving a straight forward answer.
He isn’t picking a striker because his signings, ie Connolly is made of chocolate and doesn’t fancy it most times, Sharp isn’t fit enough and **** knows why we signed Ohio a player who won’t be ready until Xmas

it’s amazing how people on here post about his touch and lack of English experience and are called out for it. Then as soon as Rosie says the same thing, everyone agrees

People think because he got in the right spot against Rotherham that he's some amazing striker when it was there for all to see he was really struggling in general play.

The only "metric" that matters is goals for vs goals against.
No point in peaking for the playoffs if you don't get there.
Seems like Rosie is feeling the pressure, but good luck to him & the team.

Don't worry if we finish outside the playoffs but LRs data and metrics say we're a playoff team that's ok

He always has lots of nice fluffy things to say, a bit like Gareth Southgate the other night.

Isn't that exactly what Rosenior has said? That's how I read it.

Mistakes have been made, or opportunities for signings failed to come off. Liam now needs to work with what he has got, not a squad that he might secretly wish he had.

I like a lot of what he’s said. Except the bit about swallowing that fact of dropping points against Birmingham etc. Every game counts and you should absolutely go for the 3 points early in the season too. I’ve said it before, I fear this season could be a missed opportunity to get in those playoffs.

On the flip side, Rosenior has improved us a lot and deserves a lot of credit. He is very honest and I don’t think he is arrogant like some say.

I think the fact we're annoyed at the prospect of missing the play offs shows just how far we've come. Next season is make or break for me.
