So, be accurate ... ... what exactly are you saying about them and what does it matter where they're from or live. I'd say the majority, on here, aren't from Sunderland and don't live there. So that's who you're posting to, what makes you better than them?
Ok fella. No worries. Amazing how some of us knew this was happening in December though eh? Nah, it was prank, a rouge trader, a joke gone wrong. Incredible.
In your opinion. I have a different one. The fans who haven't went back , have that one too. But you say they need to get a grip? But hypercritical no?
You are right some fans are impatient but i wouldn’t say that it is lots of our fans. Should we be more patient with the young players, certainly. But it is glaringly obvious we are missing vital experience in the team and that’s not helping the players and therefore the fans are rightly frustrated. Should we have been more patient with Beale? Absolutely not, he was possibly the worst appointment we could have made and everyone saw what would happen, including some pundits. It was done on the cheap and if we didn’t have anyone lined up we might as well have kept Mowbray. For me manager appointment has destroyed our season, not the lack of experience or a proven striker. That’s 100% on the board and all eyes are on them now to make the right appointment. Someone who isn’t just a “yes man”, someone who can bring an identity to the team and a style of play. The fans won’t be conned by another cheap appointment.
I disagree on this - I know a lad from London who supports safc and is no different to us who are from Northumberland.
But they feel disconnected and betrayed. Even though they had season cards in league one, this is what has made them feel that way. . Not sure what else needs to be said but that's how they feel.
Theirs been a bit of betrayal though and a d.o.f who's you wouldn't trust as far as you could throw him. It alienates some people.
TBF tho Smug I remember it was you who first put the idea forward at the time of the BCB fiasco that maybe the people who actually had to work alongside Ncle fans might be the ones most irate? Meaning local fans I guess. And I agreed with that notion and still do.
We hired the Notts County Social Club, thanks to John Mountenay, before a vital Forest game in the 80's. We had hundreds in there with flags and scarves all over the walls ... ... you could say we got one over on the Magpies before anyone else
That's fine also - however your opinion doesn't outweigh our real life experience and family association with safc going back over 100 years despite being from north of the Tyne. Sorry to be pedantic and not going to get into an argument over it.
