Hopefully they stabilise and don't drop too far. The Mrs was around the 19/20 Mark for around 9 years. NYD 2023 they just about gave up, had a siezure, blue lighted to UHND, transferred after 5 days to the Freeman, kidney function down to 7%.
Been on dialysis ever since, which we now do at home.
Bit of a steep learning curve on how to do it, and a bit daunting at first, but we got there. Has it Mon, wed, and Friday, 3 hour sessions.

Hopeful things stay the same but you just don't know. A bit short sighted I know but I can still do my job and get abroad for a holiday as things stand so I'm fortunate.

Really though, I'm full of admiration for you. I get talking to folk at the outpatient clinic who are doing what you are and it's a massive commitment. Just the kidney biopsy (I've had three) is enough to put anyone off.

Great for sharing this with Row 3, I'm sure he'll sleep well tonight. Blessings to you all

Look North will now be broadcast only in black & white ...

... no Brown <doh>

Look North ⁦@BBCLN⁩ I’m moving on. Projects in the pipeline with BBC & others, but (as you can see) it’s been fun, and a huge, wonderful part of my life. Thanks for watching xx pic.twitter.com/rf0e2Up33C

Top bloke is Jeff, good luck to him in his future endeavours

An aerial view of a Lancaster and some Spitfires. Gives a good size comparison, shows how big the Lancaster was, or how small a Spitfire was.
I've built a 1/32 scale Spitfire which is about 12 inches long, which means a real Spitfire was only about 32 feet long.
Bit random I know, but I liked the picture.

It's a bit late, and I don't know how true some of it is, but I realised years ago that he's a racist :undecided:

It's a combination of a) not true, b) sensationalist and c) taken out of context.

It's the kind of nonsense you see on Facebook from people spouting hate.

The CEO is Indian but Comic Relief only gives money to black causes? It doesn't even pass the smell test, but a look on the comic relief website will show many causes that affect white people on the very first page.

£176k (I haven't verified it) doesn't seem like an excessive amount to pay a CEO of a large charity. People see the word charity and somehow think everyone must work for free.

"Islamic Causes" as a slur just sounds like general racism. They support people all over the world. Many will be Muslim. They're not funding terrorism or anything.

So in order to benefit from cheap electricity from offshore wind farms, we the customer are going to have to fork out £60 billion pounds to get it to us. ( part of our daily charge has been going towards this for years). Think it's time to tell them that if they want on line payment of my bill, then they are going to have to contribute to my new laptop and broadband costs

Might help if EV vehicles paid road tax. That could go towards it.
