Too many games is my guess ... ... it must be expensive watching them progress in every competition. And it's every season!
May just be me, but can't help but notice there seems to be alot more motorists on the road using their phones while driving all of a sudden.
Yeah. spotted a couple in the last few days. There really is no excuse these days with all the technology that supports phone use in a car
Think it's the way so many people are going -- ''yes I agree we have to have rules, but come on, it's just me, I'm not a murderer , so it's ok for me to ignore them'' It's like probably people who uproar if someone on a quadbike destroys some public grassed area but are quite happy to turn grass into quagmire trenches if they want to park their car to save walking a few yards
Walking along Newcastle quayside today when an old Audi pulled out near Greggs and hit a lovely red jaguar. The jag driver was reversing to park up and see the damage the Audi had caused to his car. The Audi driver then sped off towards the Law courts. The jag driver then drove after him at speed. The Audi then pulled in again and the Jag driver pulled along side it. The Audi driver then sped off again with the Jag again in hot pursuit. It was like a film getaway scene. Hopefully the jag drivers passenger was able to phone the police. The Audi driver probably had no tax nor insurance and maybe should'nt even be in the country.
Two Stoke City supporters have been banned from all football grounds in England and Wales for three years for tragedy chanting at Elland Road. Mark Turner and Callum Lawton were spotted mocking the deaths of two Leeds fans who were killed in Istanbul in 2000, West Yorkshire Police said. The incident happened during Stoke's away fixture against Leeds on 5th March. The pair admitted a public order offence at Leeds Magistrates' Court on 20th March. The force said the two men were in the away supporters' section of the upper West Stand at the time, which is immediately above home fans. Turner, 44, of Longport Road, Stoke-on-Trent, was fined £553 and ordered to pay £85 in costs and a £221 victim surcharge. Lawton, 28, of Johnson Place, Stoke-on-Trent, was fined £120 and told to pay £85 in costs and a £48 victim surcharge.
It's definitely assault, I'm not sure how sexual it is. If it's a single kiss on the breast of a woman in a low cut gown, at a restaurant, that's sexual. You're more likely to contract Covid, or whatever, from being kissed on the lips than a chest tbf.
Yeah mate. Like I say, it just seems to be creeping in again slowly, blokes in vans. Seen someone in a Audi 4X4 on their phone the other day, can't tell me cars like that aren't connected up to death so it's super hands free. Like you say, people think they're above the law.
Won't watch it. Bits I've seen is usually some arsehole in the crowd that once gave their husband a dogfood pie getting a free holiday to Orlando. Plus I don't like rip off Morecombe and Wise "acts".
There's nothing worse than watching people laugh hysterically at something that's very slightly funny. When I ask people what talent those two have they'll inevitably say 'They're good at what they do' ... ... which is basically being themselves from when they were half their age.
So the Thames Water SHAREHOLDERS have demanded the customers' bills be increased 40%. In other words --- get the man on the street to cough up more to ensure our dividend income
I found myself, against every instinct I have, agreeing with Jacob Rees Mogg when he said the government should let Thames Water go bust. Thames Water ought to be allowed to go bankrupt. It would continue to be run by an administrator, the shareholders would lose their equity but they took too much cash out so deserve no sympathy and the bond holders would face a partial loss. This is capitalism, it won’t affect the water supply.
I always say to the wife. Why do people do it in a car less than 3 years old, usually a high end vlcsr too. So will have Bluetooh built in!
Looking for some consensus, I live down a dead end street, not a cul-de-sac exactly, as the houses are only on one side of the road, we have a double driveway and the DPD driver has been reversing onto our drive to turn and get out, now when I say reversing I don’t mean like a metre onto the path, like the full length of the van onto the driveway, the parcels are not for us but for neighbours. Now technically nobody is being harmed but it annoys the **** out of me, am I being an arsehole?
If it's your driveway it's trespassing, so tell them to stop doing it . . . . I'd be furious, too You're usually being an arsehole, but not in this case
