there's massively complex rules and needs who'll vote you out for saying hello.

Yes, there are, I've not looked recently, but when I did look a few years ago they were all crap and didn't do everything I'd want them to do. They were also really bad about giving statistics, so you can see who hasn't been posting, etc.

Now AI is readily available, I think it would be fun to add AI characters. (not too many because that would make it silly)- but in a game of 10 humans, if AI William Shakespeare and AI Sherlock Holmes were two competitors it might be fun and shake things up a little.

Based on just feeding unfiltered text from this forum AI did pretty darn well, even if it's reasons for voting for someone was a bit unusual (so are real humans at times). I can imagine AI characters like Donald Trump who builds up a grudge easily... or Sherlock Holmes who always uses reason and logic to pick someone.


Could also use AI to generate day time and night time text in creative ways and create pictures. Perhaps based on the user's avatars to put them into the scenes.


I'd love to sit down and write one, my-way, but honestly, I'm so sick of computers by the time I get off work I probably never will. Unless I win the lottery and so can retire early, I'll probably never get around to it.

No, but just like real humans could develop characters who vote based on emotion "He voted for me, I'll vote for him"- or logic, completely ignoring emotion based decisions.

Trump would almost always try and vote off anyone who voted for him and hold a grudge between games.

A long time ago I had considered writing a Mafia game website that handles all the logisitics for us so we just have to post. I was just thinking would be fun if "AI" was a player now that that is an option. So I sent a couple of pages of text from one of the games MITO hosted and told it it had to pick who was the Don.


It's response made me laugh:

Found it funny it picked up on that as being the most suspicious comment from the day.

What might not work is it kept flagging posts as "possibly against terms and conditions" because it mentioned people being killed.




When I asked it to pick from ALL days of text I fed it, it guessed CaptainChaos. I asked it to pick a second choice at that point and it suggested Mito. Mito was the moderator of the game!

It was clever enough each time to pick an actual person and give a reason from just a dump of text. It knew who the people competing were.

As I've said before, I'm neither a Royal-Lover nor a Royal-Hater so I don't take a lot of notice about what goes on with them.
I saw that there was some fuss about a doctored photo, but I didn't investigate and I had no idea that some sort of conspiracy "theory" had grown out of it.
It never ceases to amaze me the ****e the media will conjure up to make a story, and presumably the large number of people who will lap it up.
As far as I'm concerned, being born into aristocratic circles is as much an accident of birth as me being born in the back streets of an industrial city, and I judge people by what they do not what they were born to.
Catherine is a woman with a nasty disease that is awful for anyone but somehow worse for someone of her age. No doubt there are plenty of others in a similar situation who are not in the public eye, but she has my sympathy regardless.
As would anyone I knew who found themselves in a similar situation.

She didn't fall in love with him before the first date. She didn't have to date him... It is a path she chose.
