small room for a small man.

barely room for the bed which is an optimistic double and he can't even open the drawers there to get out his fergie shaped butt plug.

Paul Gascoigne says he was once dropped from the England team by Glenn Hoddle for making a joke about his Christianity.
He said: "When he told me he had found God, I said, 'F*ck me, that must have been one hell of a pass."

    Wife's Diary:
Tonight, I thought my husband was acting weird. We had made plans to meet at a nice restaurant for dinner.
I was shopping with my friends all day long, so I thought he was upset at the fact that I was a bit late,
but he made no comment on it.
Conversation wasn't flowing, so I suggested that we go somewhere quiet so we could talk.
He agreed, but he didn't say much.
I asked him what was wrong; He said, "nothing."
I asked him if it was my fault that he was upset.
He said he wasn't upset, that it had nothing to do with me, and not to worry about it.
On the way home, I told him that I loved him.
He smiled slightly, and kept driving. I can't explain his behaviour.
I don't know why he didn't say, “I love you, too.”
When we got home, I felt as if I had lost him completely, as if he wanted nothing to do with me anymore.
He just sat there quietly, and watched TV. He continued to seem distant and absent.
Finally, with silence all around us, I decided to go to bed. About 15 minutes later, he came to bed.
But I still felt that he was distracted, and his thoughts were somewhere else. He fell asleep; I cried.
I don't know what to do. I'm almost sure that his thoughts are with someone else. My life is a disaster.
    Husband's Diary:
Who the hell loses to Watford?

    So 2% cut to NI.

Means on average someone on 150k a year will save £754 a year. Those that don’t really need that and will barely even notice the difference.

However those earning 15k a year and need all the help they can get will get an extra £49 a year.

I know the better off will always be better off because of way % works but surely moving tax banding just makes so much more sense.

I know higher earners will still get slightly more then but at least the people under tax threshold or under 40% will benefit from it far more?

The taxation system means nothing to the working poor.

Could they do with the extra pennies, Yes. Would it make much difference, probably not.

You've got to look at where people's money goes.

    Food, utilities and rent/mortgage.

There's little the government can do about food and utilities. But the ever increasing rise in rent and/ or cost of buying a house could be curtailed.

It would take a building effort not seen since the end of ww2 and also need a fair amount of altruism from a good amount if the population.

They could cap energy companies and stop putting minimum wage up, both have a massive contribution to literally everything becoming more expensive.

British Gas made £78m profit in 2022. In 2023, they were struggling to make bread and had to put the costs up. The profit in 2023 was £750m. Yeah, proper struggling. They're just fleecing people.

yes absolutely the tax banding would be more helpful to more people but they are not interestedin more people.

Vote labour and se what they do. i bet the don't do much different but at least they are not the scum that cleaned out the country over coivd and decided on brexit etc etc etc
