They have a cap for energy companies, but they can't cap the multinationals that sell the raw materials. The energy cap is why so many utility companies went bust.
It would help if the likes of Amazon paid their tax on sales in this country. Apparently HMRC are getting an extra £35m to chase up non payers of tax and may even use Bailiffs to collect, of course this will only apply to individuals not the big companies who are based abroad, technically!

A long time ago I had considered writing a Mafia game website that handles all the logisitics for us so we just have to post. I was just thinking would be fun if "AI" was a player now that that is an option. So I sent a couple of pages of text from one of the games MITO hosted and told it it had to pick who was the Don. It's response made me laugh: #allaboutzanjino Found it funny it picked up on that as being the most suspicious comment from the day. What might not work is it kept flagging posts as "possibly against terms and conditions" because it mentioned people being killed. When I asked it to pick from ALL days of text I fed it, it guessed CaptainChaos. I asked it to pick a second choice at that point and it suggested Mito. Mito was the moderator of the game! It was clever enough each time to pick an actual person and give a reason from just a dump of text. It knew who the people competing were.
there's plenty of mafia games out there. there's massively complex rules and needs who'll vote you out for saying hello.
