But wasn't Beale a gamble? and failed. Isn't every managerial appointment a gamble, TM certainly was and he did well up to a point. Is there such a thing in giving the job to a pair of safe hands? Pleased I'm not on the interview panel, but just ask our fans to give whoever it is a chance which MB certainly never got.
Cooper - ultimately failed in his last job The ex Sheff U boss - sacked Will Still - making all the right waves The Polish bloke - won the league and cups in Poland before taking a year out. Out of that shortlist I know which ones I’d prefer. Bart PS - ugly bloke need not apply
Yeah, I think it would create a buzz and generate some good publicity for the club. Might be seen as an ambitious move. From a technical/coaching point of view I think there are probably less high profile people who could probably do just as good a job.
Sadly, we may not be his no matter how much money we throw at him ... ... he's had a taste of the PL and, if Forest go down under Nuno, his reputation will be given a boost.
I'd definitely agree with that. I'd also say that the likelihood of a manager to be a success is down to a lot more than just the skills/ability/experience of that manager. If it was Neil Warnock and Roy Hodgson would have shared the last few titles between them.
So not a bloke who's already been promoted from this league, because he's not a looker. Class that mate.
Think Cooper will either wait for a PL job or take one of the three relegated teams with parachute payments.
Cooper took forest from the bottom of the championship and got them promoted playing attacking football. He was sacked after a run of losses in the prem . Hardly a failure.
Not at Sunderland right now it hasn’t though so something needs to change and if you aren’t even doing the basics correctly that’s what will be pointed out because that’s what people see first. Who’s utilised out of their natural position that’s playing out of their skin?
Prior to the clowns taking over, the mention of a relatively unknown manager at a relatively unfashionable French club would have initiated a meltdown........how times change.
I think if they can competently play two or more positions, then they're not being played out of their natural positions.
