Not sure if I missed this earlier but the last I knew, we had an option to buy Giles if we wanted in the summer. Reports today are suggesting its an obligation. I wonder if thats been the hold up over the last week? Maybe we tried for an option but Luton insisted on it being an obligation. Also reports today are saying the fee is up to £5m, not the £4m previously reported by Baz last week.

Could be nothing at all, perhaps Baz simply got his facts wrong last week and it was always going to be an obligation to buy in the summer for £5m, which is what Luton paid for him in the summer.

Just listening to the latest 1904 podcast and Baz was very keen to state Giles is an option and not obligation

Shame it hasn't worked out for Ally, no doubt injuries taking their toll. He looked like he had outstanding potential when he arrived, and bl**dy fast, but faded after a bright start. All the best Ally in Belgium.

I really like the look of Liam Millar at Preston. According to Transfermarket he has dual nationality with UK as well as Canada, where he was born. Originally at Liverpool but now on loan from FC Basel. A good age at 24.

I haven't listened yet but that sounds like another big sign of how far we've come. Last January he had no interest in coming back even though he wasn't playing at Brentford. Now he is playing but he was interested in coming back on loan. This is clearly a very attractive team to join.
