Just looked at the Saudis away from in the league, this season.

played 10, won 1, drawn 2, lost 7, for 16, against 22.

5 points from 10 games, the only win was the 8-0 thrashing of Sheffield which gives the goal difference a very different look.

They might just be there for the taking.

I'm usually quite easily triggered concerning the Mags but I'm in the 'couldn't care less' bracket with this tbh ...

... I'm just laughing at how needy and insecure they are.

Makes no logical sense at all. Can anyone seriously give a good reason for doing it? I fully understand taking out the memorabilia but why decorate it?

We have bent to accommodate them all the way through. Why stop now. Money to be made.

Quite ironic how some slam the blood money of the Saudis but we are going out ends to accommodate them to take it off their hands.

They are already going to be in the ground though so the money is already made. The decorations are just to appease.

Do you know how we are making money out of this? All ticket and matchday revenue has to be split 50/50, so its not like we are able to cash in properly. Unless Newcastle are paying us to do it?

We sometimes play like we're half asleep but I haven't seen us bottle it for ages, I don't think it's a danger with this group of lads. I reckon we'll be on it from kickoff, whether it'll be enough who knows but I believe we'll be proud of our lads at full time.

I get this is sarcasm but the rest of the ground has needed a clean and a redo for about 10 years so why only do it when that lot are coming to town

Why do we need to appease them?
No other club in the world would bend over backwards for their Derby rivals like this and the only justification is money, which is no justification at all.

There will be thousands of Sunderland faithful who won't forgive over this. Telling you know. Major error.

We don't need to and we shouldn't be. Atmosphere should be hostile towards them from everyone associated at the club.
