I am not sure he is playing out of position mate. What is his position? The Brum coaches werent sure and I doubt ours are too. Let him play and see where he settles. My opinion, he could be a 9,10,8 or 6. I wouldnt pigeon hole him yet.

You’ve just hit the nail on the head mate. We’ve played him as a 6,8,9 and 10 so he’s not settled in his best position yet he’s still doing a job all over the pitch

There's plenty of service...Clarke, Roberts beating defenders at ease. A natural striker would be getting across their man at the near, far and middle of the box. Swap the wingers to the other sides and we'd get bundles.

Both wingers beat players easily but definitely not enough service into the middle, it’s either try and beat one too many or pass it back to someone else. Would that change if we played a striker regularly? I’d say so.

Seemingly, some of the same people who were judge jury executioners on Saturday, are now “reserving judgement “ (Facebook not on here).

I sane how some fans are! We played well. We still lack a ruthless cutting edge, but we played well. Defended well, broke well and created chances. Should’ve had more than 1 with the positions we made.

That’ll do me. Happy with it

Playing on the wings that they are, it naturally brings them inside to a shooting position. Changing it means its a pull back for an on-rushing forward/s or late midfield run. I think the coaches are playing the way they are as we don't have natural finishers

See this is where some might say you refuse to criticize our club mate. Even when it's staring us all in the face...you refuse to acknowledge that it is possibly unheard of in the entire history of football that a team...a proper team...can go half a season with out a single goal from a striker. Dress it up anyway you want...
Yes we are in top 6. Imagine where we would be if we had a regular scoring striker. It's just my opinion.
I don’t see what difference it makes if a striker scores or not?

We absolutely need a striker to hold the ball up and give us a focal point. A striker who knows how to work the line and close down at the right times.

I honestly don’t care who scores, as long as we do.

By 'Reserving judgment' they mean waiting for the next defeat

When people are lashing out at our players, often foreign lads trying to win a place in the team, they often forget they're someone's son who they drove around on Sunday mornings as a child ...

... I really hope people can remember these are young kids who are clearly overawed at times.

Here. Wasn’t easy but far better than a team who are Fannie’s hair between us.

First away game in 3 years and **** me I forget and absolutely buzzed off our fans, we are the best away fans in the ****ing world, I swear I welled up with pride 3-4 times (used to be 8-10 games away a season as a young pup)

You lads who follow the lads nationwide you are ****ing legends.

I swear that was a brilliant day here I am home at half 11 ****ing brilliant wish I could do more of them.

****ing love our club lads. No matter what. ****ing loved that day (aye am hammererd)

Scares the shi* out of teams and puts them on the back foot constantly, will admit though final ball needs to improve

I don't think it's going to, he's been with us a while with a pretty free role and his end product is going backwards. He tries his hardest but it's not happening.

It's time to play someone else. Whether that's Adil, or Clarke Jr Tommy Watson, or someone else, we could really do with a winger who is scoring and assisting to the bare minimum level, which Roberts is unfortunately nowhere near achieving this season.

Good game for O'Nien today, performed to a high level. Only thing from his point of view is, so did Seelt and he's played well every game while also being a goal threat. Good competition and Seelt looks a hell of a player.
