Funnily enough that almost happened to mine Smug, I did it the same way I have done for years but this year it was on the cusp of falling apart as I put into the baking tray. I glazed and baked it and it looks ok now, hopefully it will be good to go tomorrow.
Great thread this one. Hosting the family tomorrow. Kids, Grandkids, Mother in law. Looking forward to a hectic fun filled day. Have a great Christmas everyone. All the best to you all.
Done my ham earlier, left in the stock until its cooled down, then wrapped in foil. In the fridge overnight to set, ready for glaze tomorrow. The things next to it is sage & onion stuffing, wrapped in streaky bacon. Way better than pigs in blankets.
Hope you dont mind mate, my Ham was magic. My Dad, who says he hates ham, every year eats the baked christmas ham like it is his last meal. Just had a plate myself, with my own picallili and feel content. Large glass of malt poured, my corner seat watching the family, loving my life.
Merry Christmas everyone. The Jolly Fatman has been to Aus and is on his way to you aal. Ham glazed and turkey cooked yesterday. Pork to do for lunch
Had a running commentary of that app all night. He's over Riga, he's over Mozambique, he's over Rome, he's over Helsinki etc.
I hope everyone not expecting the first of three visitors when the clock strikes one has a restful night and great day tomorrow.
Tell them to get to sleep or the Smugmonster will be round to take their stockings down ... ... workey tickets the pair of them
The folks went through to Durham Cathedral the other day. It's still looking fine..... (I know the last one isn't the Cathedral )
