It’s a difficult one this year, 1st one without my mam. I’ve shed some tears today but she wouldn’t want me to feel like this. If anyone is that way inclined a little prayer for my mam would be appreciated. She loved Christmas and I loved her immensely.
Anyway, I hope you all have a fantastic Christmas and wish you all the very best for the New Year, I’ve never met any of you but can honestly say you all seem a lovely bunch of people. God Bless you all and Merry Christmas

Nothing wrong with shedding a tear mate, sorry for your loss and I will say a prayer for your mam and for you mate

Just wanted to wish you all a very merry Christmas and a happy new year!!! My heart and prayers are especially with those who have lost ones. You guys in England get to Christmas Day eight hours before here. I have always been one of those who wanted to be in the know well just had a text from Rudolph the Red Nose reindeer. He told me that as they were loading up the sleigh he said Santa has a special package to drop off at the SOL. I pushed him to find out what it was. He told me it was Kylian Mbappe and he is making his debut against Hull. You heard it here first folks!! Got to laugh right….be safe and enjoy this special time… best LA

Great thread mate, I'm pleased it's not me posting this year, I bet people get sick of me.

Seriously, I love this time of year for all kinds of reasons. It's the only time people seem to be able to be open with each other.

I'd like to give my best wishes to everyone with my prayers and love to anyone that way inclined ...

... we only have so long on this board/planet so let's all enjoy it as much as we can.
Can’t believe another 12 months have disappeared since you started the thread last year - so as you say - we all need to remember we won’t be here forever .

Merry Christmas and a happy, healthy and prosperous New Year to all.
Just finished the ham, so a little glass of red then up early tomorrow to cook the turkey, a very relaxing time for me....not <bubbly>:emoticon-0167-beer:

I pride myself on my ham.

Today's was a fkn disaster from start to finish <doh>

Did all the prep, boiled it in Coke and it was looking great. Took it out and it fell apart ...

... tried glazing it and it burned to a crisp in the oven.

I've just booted it over the hedge hoping it doesn't poison the the local foxes ...

... thankfully I have a fridge full of Italian lagers so I'll get over it <laugh>
