Well it's coming up to 6pm on Christmas Eve, tomorrow is a time for family, friends and a bit of reflection for those not here.

A time to put aside differences, we all want the same result, just don't always agree on the way to get them.

To everyone on here and I genuinely mean this, whether we have argued, agreed, or varied in between. I hope you and your families have a lovely Christmas.

As I've always been taught we look after our own and despite differences at times you lot are a good bunch.

Merry Christmas everyone

Great thread mate, I'm pleased it's not me posting this year, I bet people get sick of me.

Seriously, I love this time of year for all kinds of reasons. It's the only time people seem to be able to be open with each other.

I'd like to give my best wishes to everyone with my prayers and love to anyone that way inclined ...

... we only have so long on this board/planet so let's all enjoy it as much as we can.

Aye, Happy Christmas to everyone on here. This is a decent little village, I think. I argue with some at times, and then usually think I was being an idiot. Maybe I am the village idiot <laugh><laugh>

This time of year for me is about family and sport! Always has been. Got my Mam and Dad here with me now, well sort of, they have nodded off after a decent feed. My Brother and his gang arriving tomorrow. Then my other Brother and his gang for new year. We will love and argue, eat and drink (the malt cabinet has been topped up), cheat at games and nod off in front of Christmas films. I will sneak up for a round of golf with pals at least twice - escape!

Whatever you do I hope you have friends and family around you. I hope you are smiling and laughing. I hope you have someone to hug at the special moments.

All the best, you daft crowd <cheers>

We have Mam and dad round tomorrow morning for presents m, although they want to be at home for their food and they are back again boxing day for food at ours. Then they are off on a cruise for their 50th wedding anniversary.

Both of them are showing their age now and i do worry this year may be the last....

You only get 1 go at this and @Smug in Boots said enjoy it

Wishing everyone on here a very Merry Christmas. At work tonight but finish at 7 in the morning, few hours kip then round to the daughter's for Xmas dinner, pissed and asleep after a few drinks only to be woken up by the missus cos I'm snoring! <laugh>

I hope you all have a good day and here's to 3 points on Boxing Day and a prosperous 2024 to all <cheers>

I'd also like to apologise publicly to @Prehab26 and anyone else i have upset with some of my posts this year.

A lesson learnt for me in knowing when to step away and also a learning time to accept others have just as valid opinions.

It's no defence at all, but this past 6 months have been the most trying personally and professionally I have ever experienced.

Haway the lads
