Is this Neil, Mowbray or Beale you're on about?

It’s too early to judge how this is going to go with Beale and the current ownership have got plenty wrong, but there’s a lot of people got very short memories and seem to have forgotten just what a **** show we were in very recent history.

Beale - the other two had been managers with half decent records.

This chancer is seriously unpopular from both of his failed and brief stints prior imo.

This will not end well or last very long I'm absolutely convinced - the vibe around the place yesterday was telling and Beale served up the opposite of a new manager bounce.

There’s a hell of a difference between criticising the club for honest reasons, and whining and winging on like a tart. I believe you even realise that mate.

The vibe around the place, when McMenemy arrived, was triumphant ...

... how wrong we were <doh>

Of course I do, I get frustrated that at times it feels that any criticism results in being labelled a wailing fanny.

On the plus side, wailing fanny had become on of my go to phrases at work :emoticon-0102-bigsm

I think KLD will read some posts on here and feel proud, he’ll read others and think what sad bastard wrote that, then he’ll think oh! I know.

Hate to tell you mate, but you’ve got two and a half years to whine in front of you. Personally I hope he’s here the full two and a half years + some.

    That's a bit unfair imo.

Reasonable criticism about Jobe being included/excluded is fair enough and reasonably debated ...

... claiming the club is bowing down to Newcastle, avoiding the PL or selling off our stars is worthy of being called a fanny imo.

Sorry if you fall into that category.

I was 17 then and I have never been so excited about a new Sundland manager in my life! Think we lost the first 5 games without scoring a goal iirc. The start of a terrible era.

True but that has nothing to do with the vibe being negative from the get go on this one and it's for good reason.

    He reads here?

    Hi Mr KLD,

Can I have 2 free directors box seats for my Dad and Auntie please?

They are both getting on and could do with a nice padded seat and warm bit for coffee and tea.

    Thanks

His QPR stint as head coach was good albeit brief, his managerial stint at Rangers was not great but he his biggest downfall was his player signings which he is not in charge of here so his time at Rangers is irrelevant.

The negative vibe doesn't represent the whole of the support ...

... just the whole of those who are negative.

I bet you would find it hard to find a post where they are called a wailing Fanny for criticising the club.

I fall in the category of wanting our club to be the absolute best and I will die on the hill of wanting the commercial side side firing on all cylinders.

The playing side, I like Jobe he isn't his brother but there is a player there (think I have probably said that about every player)

The commercial side is the husk off a peanut compared to what Newcastle have ...

... unless we sell our souls the chance of PL success is absolutely gone forever.
