Someone on RTG says has it on good authority that the team will be picked by Speakman & Dodds and not Beale. Jesus man, and another saying he’s been told 4 players have asked to leave. it’s batshit crazy that place, win a couple of games and Beale will be a god ha.

Absolutely not wanting a add fuel to anything but I was told a few weeks ago that Mowbray hadn't been picking the team

That's deffo not true mate, I've known TM since he was 20 and still speak to him, even in the last few days so trust me on that, Them 3 worked the team out, if your reffering to the Burstow thingy different story.
Not for on here that, some already know, but I don't know the FULL story. Leave it at that.

I wouldn't fall out over something so trivial mate ...

... it's just funny that NE people, with all the slang and dialect, can be so concerned about someone's speech patterns.

People from Sunderland are called Mackems and can't agree why <laugh>
I don’t know how accurate my father was, but he always referred to Sunderland people as Mendums and Mackums, referring to their shipbuilding and repairing industry.

With over a decade as a long distance exile my accent is shot to pieces. Having to speak clearer English, while learning French over there, I found myself using a different voice entirely.

When I came back for matches I'd slip straight back into my NE accent, or what's left of it. Sometimes things would become mixed up between the two and matters were worse if a NE mate/family came to visit, in France ...

... I'd end up in mixed company speaking 'clear English' to half the group and 'Durham' to the other half <doh>

If anyone didn't like it, and some didn't, they could just f**k off tbh.
I moved from County Durham to Manchester / West Yorkshire and had to adapt the accent so the kids and families I worked with understood me. My accent is hybrid northern but my kids always say I’m Durham when I’m feisty and when I’m in Durham. Since being away I’ve realised cockneys and southerners are not always posh and posh speakers are often not southerners. It’s obvious really like but moving away educates you.

There's often a good deal more to it than laziness. That's really incredibly ignorant

Well I'm certainly not ignorent marra.

And like I said, I'm not setting out to purposely offend.

I'm deffo not going to apologise for wanting to hear the Queen's/King's English spoken correctly, nomatter what accent a person speaks in.

As infants, we were all expected to learn phonetics to the correct standard whilst learning the English alphabet....every British child did.

Then when we grow older, we all have the choice to pronounce words the way we want.

Cockney rhyming slang is amazing, and humerous. However, it was always delivered correctly eg - Up the apple and pairs (Stairs) - Hampstead Heath (Teeth) ...but now folk say,- Up ver apples and pairs, and - Hampstead Heef (Teeff).....Why though?....there's no need at all.

In short, there is right way, and there is a wrong way.....there's no arguing with that mate.

Sorry if that offends you :emoticon-0148-yes:
