This all reminds me of the last General Election ...

... except the 'supporters' were given a vote <doh>

The PM was chosen, based almost entirely on 'charisma'. The 'red wall' chose to believe the exciting promises of 'levelling up' and success for the NE. The supporters soon realised it was all ludicrous unsustainable boasts and billions wasted on equipment that was useless and left to rot. The 'manager'spouted endless lies, was quickly found out and rightly sacked.

Beale may be 'charisma free' but I don't want to marry the bloke ...

... I just want him to manage us well, utilise our assets and make us proud.

    GSOC, KTF & HTL.

I’ve heard various reasons put forward as to why the “red wall” deserted Labour, Smug, none of them accurate in my opinion. All the people I’ve spoken to about it said they abandoned Labour to get Brexit done.

Ironically based almost entirely on xenophobia ...

... whereas bringing in an immigrant, in Sunderland, seemed to be a great idea according to some <laugh>

Obviously people from south of the Midlands are inherently difficult to like but I kind of like this guy. He isn't trying too hard ti put some image across, he speaks naturally, and it does genuinely seem like the infrastructure at the club has him excited.

Difficult not to give him a chance on that basis.

Someone on RTG says has it on good authority that the team will be picked by Speakman & Dodds and not Beale. Jesus man, and another saying he’s been told 4 players have asked to leave. it’s batshit crazy that place, win a couple of games and Beale will be a god ha.

Says everything you need to know about the place that RTG has become.
Those of us with a functioning brain can ensure that nonsense doesn't happen to this place.

Anyone wanting to leave is likely to be one of the foreign lads not getting a game. If it’s a first teamer I wouldn’t believe they’d be fussed till they knew which league we’re in next season.

Seriously will you just **** off with your common sense.

How the **** are the vocal pissy pant brigade supposed to vent their annoyance if we apply rationale and logic to a discussion.

Wonder what they'd say if it was the three oldest players in the squad, whose contracts are up next June, and the loanee.

Yes,of course, but my point was a bit tongue in cheek, speculating around which 4 players,in their diluted thinking, would be wanting to leave.

**** RTG. I'm tempted to say the sooner one of the loonies over there says something that gets them shut down the better, but that would mean the loonies would look for somewhere else to poison.

I think you are totally right there mate it reminds me of Bullseye's Jim Bowen and his catchphrase "Here's what you could have won" <laugh> there are some people losing it because our HC is not who they would pick or that he is not too inspiring but the truth is I don't need him to be enigmatic in front of the TV cameras I want him to be enigmatic in front of the players and to make them the best they can be, hopefully he is the man to do that and only time will tell. The truth is the more I hear about him the more I think that KLD and KS may well have pulled a rabbit out of the hat but needless to say it could also go tits up as well.
As he settles into his role as the HC he will get my support and hopefully in a few weeks time we are singing his name from the rooftops, if not a fear he will be in for a bumpy ride.

Pretty much sums it up marra. Let's give him the time and see what he can do. It's good to see that Doddsy and Proc are still very much on the scene.....we could have appointed someone who wanted to bring their own people in.
As it stands,I see no reason for pessimism.
