Thats rubbish he didn't try. All he tried to do was make as big a profit as he could he ran the club down to save spending while he waited for a lucrative buyer
Came within a whisker of taking the club into administration. Don't try re writing things.
Admin was coming quickly through Ellis Short he pulled the plug.
Look i cant and will not defend what went tits up, it's not worth it.

The photo actually looks the most like Edward Still, Will Still’s other brother, also in football, as opposed to Will Still’s assistant, his brother Nicolas Still.

Thats going to sound like I’m on a wind-up.

You know that’s simply not true. They’ve invested millions in to the infrastructure at the AOL. Don’t bull to suit your narrative.
mate i know what they have invested in, just some on here bite to quick.
What they did CM and SD went wrong, I can move on with that fact. others cant and keep dragging it up, sad but never mind.

CM and SD are disrespectful opportunists who disrespected not only the club but the region. I hope the slimy self interested ****ers never set foot in the region again.

He’s done more in his career than two seasons at Reims mind.

He’s highly regarded for work he’s done elsewhere, below management level.

People believe the Football Manager thing but it isn’t accurate.
Ad has Beale mate. And in a far more elite environment than Still.

What do you lot think of Doddsy now after today, would you still keep him in situ. as head coach.
Never would have had him, even after Leeds which was impressive. He is a massive cog in our wheel, be mad to take it out. He is also some years away from being able to handle the top job, in my opinion. His Brum days dont lend themselves to it.

This whole thing is gold. :emoticon-0102-bigsm

Might be the most entertaining thing since Keane was taking the reigns and that lad disappeared over night after saying Michael Kennedy was in some way involved in keane's decision process before being quickly reminded that he had died some years ago...funniest day I've had on this forum by a distance. Mikki Disco was in fine fettle...had me in stitches.

Never said he was. Just that Still is a long way from most raved about young coach in Europe.

Then why was Alonso brought into the discussion? Alonso has been managed by a stellar lineup of managers and won the lot.

Still has had to make it into the game off his own back.

Personally just want a coach to bring a playstyle I enjoy, like last season. Everything I have seen from Beale from the data to the video just isn't what I want and I think it's just a continuation of the slow pedestrian football we have played all season. For me, if Beale is to be a success here he has to do things completely different to how he has previously

Dodds has done an excellent job since he came in but I don't see him as the head man yet.
We have a very good talented squad of players. But I think they are in need of some fresh ideas.
Play good football and pass the ball well but we need to move up a level.
Think we need a new man in with a few new ideas. Will not take much.
However I have no idea who that should be.

Why would anyone want Still ahead of Beale? Genuine question. Honestly, what is it in his record that trumps Beale?
He might well be better but any person suggesting they ‘know’ is too far up their own arse. Nobody knows who will be best, it’s right that it’s a judgment made by professionals who do know better because of the information and connections they have access to. They also may get it wrong but just because someone has a friend in the club or knows a rangers or QPR fan does mean they have the right to savage the club who are selecting someone out of what they believe best interest and have a history more credible than an amateur uefa b coach or physio . Every coach will be a risk and will also cost money. Trust the club, we’re improving.

I replied to a poster who said Still is the most ravee about young manager in Europe. I said he wasnt, and used Alonso as an example of someone more highly regarded. There are several others I could have suggested to be honest.

He is a futsal lover mate. That is the quickest version of the game there is. There are a group of young british coaches pushing that in this country. I would wager he has more varied outlooks on how to play than every other coach we have been linkee with.
