Anyone talking about Eddie not being the right man etc needs their heads checking. The over reaction to a loss never ceases to amaze me. He quite simply doesn't have the tools to quite compete at the level everyone seemingly thinks we are entitled to compete at nowerdays. Partly because of injury. Partly because it takes more than 2 years to turn a club who were perennial relegation candidates into challenging for major titles. The football is good, we score goals, don't let in many. Don't panic.

Nobody is saying he's not as far as I'm aware, but I don't think his intense style of play, tendency to never make changes and lack of rotation are proving unsuitable for this fixture schedule.

Has Eddie Howes style of play been tested at this level? The answer is no and it's not working in my opinion.... it's super intense and unfortunately it's proving to be our achilles heel...just too many games.

He is more than capable of making changes to it and learning like anyone else.... or like the rest he could just say it's luck. .... surely it's ok to wonder about more thought through explanations?

Yes because most the time I'm replying to people being aggressive or unpleasant who have a different view and I reinforce mine.

I firmly believe our style play will need changing following this season. I mean I suppose the coming month will tell us more but I've seen this coming... seems too much for the players.

I think a quick glimpse at when some players got Injured and what injuries they have will tell you this for the most part isn't true.

I actually agree that at some point it will happen without rotating more but most of those players haven't played anywhere near enough for it to happen yet and Barnes Toe, Wilson notorious Hamstring, Tonali being banned and Willock and Targetts lack of game time this year don't support it.

We will see what happens when we have a full squad I think Howe will realise the error of not keeping everyone match fit and overworking the same 11 like he did last season, he took time off after Bournemouth to go learn from experienced coaches,so he's open to changing and Improving.

I absolutely agree I think he can learn and this is part of what I've been saying. He's only human and he can only learn through experience....he's got no experience at this level and unfortunately it's not working out in terms of squad management.

I'm sure he'll make changes over the coming years. If he doesn't then he may well end up being replaced but he's got plenty of credit in the tank.

But the freak injuries may also be to do with the demands our style of play places on the body. High intense pressing is not easy.

Exactly even before a ball was kicked this season all the people in the game and fans with more experience playing in multiple competitions predicted this would happen and they have been proven 100% right.

Some of us (myself included) also expected to fall back for year or two, but many didn't listen then and will continue to not only ignore the evidence but also take issue with us.

I recall everyone predicting this being ridiculed and I take a vindictive approach when they do that.

They sat back when we had the ball and went direct when we failed in our approaches. It was clear to anyone with a basic understanding of the game and it worked unfortunately.
