The irony of Natanyahu shouting 'Anti-Semite!' and then cozying up to the likes of actual Nazi's like Victor Orban
I’ve looked at this thread all morning thinking about what to write but nah, I’m bored with it. Going to look up on how Ukraine are doing and will report back on that. I prefer that war anyway.
There are a fringe from what I can see but they are very much the minority. I'll tell you what I find distasteful and abhorrent which you've touched on. Less to do with the marches and more the incidents of fck nuggets driving through places like Hendon intimidating jewish communities. Thick as fck ****s (no doubt all muslims) who are actually part of the problem and a reason why the palestinian cause gets hindered. I'd love for someone to beat the **** out of them tbh.
I'm pretty sure that on here we all pretty much want the same thing, which is for these nutters to stop killing innocent people. If only the leaders involved would debate it as much as we do on here
Indeed. People were out celebrating the evening of Oct 7th which I don’t think happened here immediately after 9/11 but I was a kid so could be wrong. Not a significant number but it understandably scares a lot of people. My mate has cancelled a weekend away in case something goes down here and he needs to get home to his kids. People are taking their kids out of school or just not dressing as they would normally. I’m pretty safe from it as I don’t look jewish, if you didn’t know me you’d assume I could handle myself and I’m not in North London but if you’re an old woman plodding around Golders Green right now you feel vulnerable.
Not many Jews in the less affluent side of Huddersfield and he’s not been to Spurs since 1987 so he’s not a concern right now.
I can't speak for those out celebrating on Oct 7th, I can only tell you what I thought on the day (and therefore think what others thought at the time) that it was remarkable Hamas had managed to breach the wall and were taking (what I thought at the time) as the fight to the IDF. If you look back at my posts at the start of this latest conflict they reflect that. It was only the next day when news came out of the horrific actions against civilians, then nobody in their right mind could justify any of it. Instead, however some have decided to double down and try to claim it never happened which is equally stupid and offensive. What the Jewish ppl in the UK are feeling is unacceptable. I don't think trying to divide ppl like this government has been doing is going to help though.
I can’t believe you actually read Windy’s ‘feel sorry for me I’m Jewish..holocaust blah blah blah’ posts in the first place tbh loser
Russia has a long history with this **** tbh. There’s a world of difference between a rioting crowd of Russians looking for stray Israelis, and a peaceful sit-down protest at Liverpool Street station. That’s not to downplay the spectre of anti-Semitism (and Islamaphobia) being on the rise across Europe though, the U.K. included. This is a time that calls for cool heads and compassion across all religious, ethnic and political divides; so expect the opposite. The Finsbury Park Frumers all look pretty relaxed though.
Yeah was thinking that the other day as I was walking through Leather Lane/Hatton Garden. Frummers just cracking on and selling overpriced diamonds as always. It’s my more secular mates with kids who are getting hysterical and taking their mezzuzas down. I get around this by not bothering to have a mezzuza.
You need to filter mate, I've tried reading through the pages, but a lot of it is just the same regurgitated shhite, so my filters are, Pinkie skim straight pass, Abe on ignore and Trebs only gets my attention at x y x.
