Oh definitely
Maybe why the kid isn’t in this country playing

It is worse in Spain as far as football is concerned. Lineker, much as .i don’t like him, explained how they carry on to fill space. When he was at Barcelona there were 32 daily publications and would do anything to fill space. A favourite ploy was to make up a ridiculous story, devote loads of space to it and then devote as much space to saying it was incorrect. Imagine what is like now as he was there pre the internet days.

He may be better because he is more versatile but Gazza could do things that other players would never consider.
I went to see Tottenham v Aston Villa and Gazza got the ball on the deadball line a couple of yards from his own goal. Three Villa players were stood in his way. He was standing on his left foot and it looked like he was going to kick it into touch with his right foot but instead he flicked the ball through a Villa player's legs with his left foot and ran round him and took the ball upfield and was laughing all the way.
I saw Gascoigne on numerous occasions during his time at Ibrox. He was a footballing genius adored by those who saw him play. This lad Bellingham is the real deal,no doubt about it,but he needs a few more years under his belt before I personally compare him to Gazza ...

Each to their own though.

More pace? I think delap lacks pace
Instance in the last game where he turned his man and was going into the box and the cb got back and made the challenge

it’s probably what will stop him been a top player
It was a great lunging tackle tbf, as Delap had nearly rounded him. Pace isn't something that Kane is blessed with, but his movement, speed of thought, intelligence etc make up for it (not that he's slow either).

The way he just pushed the Italian away!
It should have been a free kick.

Re the comments and Gaza. Loved the guy to bits when he burst onto the scene and after. Totally advised wrongly by his agent Mel Stein. Bright lights of London for a Working class lad who loved a pint down the working man’s club with his Dad. Never going to end well. Still Mel did well out of it. Next up Rome. Seriously.

Gazza had problems in his personal life, back then, there was just the gutter press, now there’s so much more, every mover Bellingham makes is scrutinised, he can’t have fun like Gazza.
To this day, I still say, if Gazza had been booked for the first foul, he wouldn’t have made the second that did his knee in, Forest would have probably won the cup too.
However, like most things, it’s just meant to be.

Bellingham will have to work it out for himself, but staying out of the headlines for the wrong reasons will go a long way to him being a great footballer.

Bellingham seems to be a very sensible person as well as being a very sensible footballer
Gazza was an exceptional footballer but not very sensible as a person

Can't recall the incident you're referring to but most of the time I think Delap is very fast. When he runs with the ball through the middle of the pitch and defenders are chasing him and can't get to him it's really impressive. The red card at Blackburn was him coming in off the wing to get on the end of Ingram's kick and still getting there first. I think it's a real strength of his.
