Just had a read on Bellingham
Dad is an ex copper and semi pro footballer
So I think he’s going to be well grounded and I reckon dad will have had a say in going to Germany and now Spain rather than stay here and have the gutter press hound him with birds making allegations all the time about him.

gazza used to sleep at St James Park sometimes cos it was that bad at home

he may have loved his family but they used him as well as all the other hangers on

 

As does Saka another destined for a great career.

 

And then look at Jadon Sancho

picking the wrong club has really damaged him
Very much like it did for Harry Maguire

 

Certainly would appear so and yet if Gazza had gone there he would have been a lot better off. Different times..

 

Didn’t know Bellinghams Dad up to 2 years ago was. Sgt in the West Midlands Police and a top footballer I’m non leagues.

Tbh Bellingham was (and still is) a young lad when he went to Germany, the perfect culture and place for a lad to learn about doing the right things as a pro footballer, he has to date sensibly avoided the bright lights of the Premier league and the UK were he will no doubt be hounded by press fans and potential hangers on alike. Its good he plies his trade abroad, somewhat takes the pressure off, and allows him to develop properly as a footballer and a man. Long may it continue.

 

Man Utd's recruitment for the past 10 years has been cack.

 

Maguire and Bruno have been the only good ones.

 

Hope it continues to be cack for another 10 years.

 

Maguire has not been a good signing for Man Utd by any metric.
