I don't take it personally mate, just think it's idiotic. Mowbray’s kids took Southampton to pieces last week and, tbf, it wasn't our fault Collback lost his head ... we just took advantage.
We often step our game up, second half, when teams are tiring so I wasn't particularly worried before the red.
I watched on TV - we were average with flashes of brilliance. Pritch was MOTM. But if that's what we can produce against a physical, bullying, disruptive side, then the future is bright. Should have scored a hatful though. Away support looked brilliant as always - well done all those who travelled and attended. Hawaaaaay
I’ve just read through their natch thread and unbelievably they are mainly saying the ref was all for Sunderland.
I suppose that's football supporters for you.
In the first half we were singing 'you're not fit to referee' ...

good of you to pop in marra, as i said earlier the ref lost the game for you, he should have stamped his mark early on and we really should have had a penalty when clarke was dragged down by his arm and the ref was less than a couple of yards away with a good clear view, he rattled both sets of fans which fired the players up and even though colback is not liked i very much doubt he would make that tackle but he dove in, was high and studs first he gave the ref no choice really but the ref failed to be consistent.
we saw a lot of ainsworth (and similar) in league one, unfortunately we seemed to be everyones cup game and were not that good to be honest but time after time we played time wasting, fouling teams that just killed games and what i saw were, quite often, well drilled teams that could actually play a bit and possibly would have got themselves a few more points if they dropped the 'dark arts' .
anyway, it was a bad day for you lads, they happen, best wishes for the rest of the season fella.

I just want to say, I have little doubt we’d have come back even without the red.
We were clearly the better team even at 0-1, great finish by their lad.
It was absolutely a red, and hilarious that it was Colback. We’d have won anyway, playing 10 does not make it easy.
Wish QPR well as I’ve said throughout the weekend. They stuck in but they look really short on any kind of quality they gonna have a rough season.

I abhor Ainsworth’s methods but, strangely, I get the impression that basically and away from football he may be a nice bloke. I suppose he does what he does to try to get a degree of success so that he can feed and house his family.
I think all fans claim that the ref favoured the opposition. It’s only the posters on here that are fair and accurate in their opinions!
Missed the match today as our lass Father has been on holiday in Torquay but took a bit of a bad turn on Thursday so ended up in Torbay hospital so had to drive there today pick him up and bring him back to Sunderland 800 mile round trip get in.
On the plus side on way back we stopped off at Trowell services at about 20 40 and the team were there so had a quick chat with a couple of them and it really made my day silver linings and that

I had to get sorted for my gig before full time so have t had a chance to post really, but what a ****ing goal that third was, cracking football on the left, great cross but what a finish from Ba!

The referee was poor for both sides and made some poor decisions but the red card wasn't one of them ...
... with the referee a couple of yards away the bad decision was Colback's.
Despite a few of the QPR posters trying to rewrite the incident it's pretty clear what happened. Colback is acting the 'midfield maestro' and needlessly gives the ball away. He's had Ainsworth in the media, all week, bigging him up, saying how courageous he is, etc.
So, as we've all seen many times before, the ginger nugget tries to rescue the situation by diving in ...
... the referee thought it was a straight red and so do QPR, there's absolutely no chance they'll appeal the red.
