The referee had already let QPR away with a few things before Colback jumped in recklessly ...

... I didn't see much protection tbh, if you keep committing fouls you'll be pulled up for it.

You can blame Ainsworth for Colback's stupidity tbh, his 'style' of football always involves winding his team up to the max. The trouble is the adrenaline always runs out then there's very little left.

I'd hate to have to watch that every week, no offence.

Like with Wycombe he’s getting the best out of an extremely limited group but we’ve played some nice stuff this season and were doing ok until the red IMO. On paper we shouldn’t really be competing but since he changed the system after the first game we’ve matched everyone with the exception of today after losing Colback.

I don’t really get the beef you guys have with Ainsworth. Like I get where it originated but don’t get why you still go on about it.

I’m not saying it wasn’t a bad foul but you see a yellow given for that far more than you see a red at this level. I think at that stage of the game he was getting an earful from your bench and a few players and it came at the right time for you (that’s not a criticism, I wish we did it more).

Armstrong gets a lot given against him as most blokes his size do but all of those fouls you mention were incredibly soft even if fouls at all.

You’ve got some very exciting players no doubt. I don’t think they’ll get anything like that level of protection every week.

Anyway never had anything against Sunderland. Would rather you did well than most in this league.
:emoticon-0140-rofl::emoticon-0140-rofl::emoticon-0140-rofl: Wait is this a serious comment?

We dont have any beef with him, we just dont like how his teams play thats all

Apologies if you have already commented on this on the transfer thread but have you watched much of Aouchiche? Looked very good when he came on today. Could be a big player for us, got himself involved in a lot of good moves.

Reminded me of Arnau Riera's debut v southend. He seemed to expect better fron everyone else on the pitch. Get the feeling he could be an absolute star in this team if he's played right

Well yeah lots of fouls could do damage and some minor fouls do a lot of damage.

At the time it didn’t look like much. On the replay it’s worse than that. I still don’t honestly think it’s a straight red and I’m sure few on here will agree with me but I doubt others will get as upset about my opinion.
Your entitled to your opinion just as I am, just take your blue tinted glasses off and ask yourself if Chair had been on the end of such a tackle would you be crying yellow card at most....don't think so .

I don't lke Ainsworth because he's a hypocrite.

He plays Mr Nice Guy but encourages time wasting, sly digs, etc, and always finds excuses for his players as he will with Colback ...

... fortunately it's not our problem, job done today.

He is a nice guy tbf.

You know every team does ‘dark arts’ whether it be surrounding the ref to influence a decision or diving in the box? It’s just lower league football. You should be as used to it as we are.

Chair would have probably got up and got on with it giving the ref an easier decision to make.

Obviously I’d want a red but I wouldn’t have expected one so that’s a bit of a dumb argument, mate.

Its a stonewall red card, even your manager has said that so not sure what your point is

You got beat by a better footballing side, no shame in that at all. Your team didnt give up n showed good heart but you got punished for your timewasting in the 1st half n a shocking tackle by colback

So you’d want a red but you are on here telling us it isn’t a red? Make your mind up. You seem to be the ‘dumb’ one here, mate.

I’d want a red for an opposition player taking a corner 1mm outside the quadrant. Wanting something doesn’t make it correct.

I do like that a fan from an opponent has come on here to discuss. Welcome!

However I can’t believe anybody doesn’t think that’s a red card. After seeing this I’ve just put it on my WhatsApp group with my mates who all support either Arsenal, Spurs or Watford, with one plastic Man Utd supporter. All 7 of them have replied saying it’s a red card.

here’s a still - https://share.icloud.com/photos/006r1BeWTPAAwcm--5hvjIo0Q

I know that stills are inconclusive but the connection is directly into the side of his lower leg, at pace. It’s a disgusting tackle and you’ll be wanting him to show better technique than that if you want to keep 11 players on the pitch in future

Now you are talking utter bollocks, which player on the end of that tackle would have just jumped up and got on with it.
Your showing yourself up mate, you got beaten by the better team, no disgrace in that just get on with it.

Chair has very strong legs. He rarely sits down. Bellingham seemed to recover very quickly, fortunately.
