Remember the words but couldn’t think of the song the tune was from. Amazing to think we paid Rochdale compensation for taking him away from them.
Fairly sure the powers that he ordered us to pay the 50k compensation, bastards! The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily mine.
Some great chants at the time. Go forth and multiply Terry D was genius. Skinflints meet the skinflints to the tune of the Flintstones. Club struggling then football crap but did enjoy being around in the south stand back then
I've no doubt he's seen us as a stepping stone, any player in that situation should and would. Would we really want a player playing for us who had no ambition to move onto bigger and better things either with us or by playing well enough to further their career which is a win for us also
I was watching girls aloud in concert last night with a laydee And obviously got to talking about which one I’d do first So I said if they were lined up and it was a competition with a thousand men all choosing which one they like I’d go for the ginger one every time!! why she says!!!??? Cos the queue would be a ****ing lot lot smaller
To the tune of Common People by Pulp.... He came from Rochdale with a lack of knowledge He studied management at Bradford College That's where I (pause), caught his eye He told me that he was a manager I said: `In that case you'd better come and manage us' He said: `Fine' And then, in three seasons' time He said: `I want to take you to the Vauxhall Conference I want to do whatever Halifax do I want to sign lots of crap old players I want to watch this club slide out of view And hoof, and hoof and hoof Because There's nothing left to doooooooooo'
