I mentioned Andre Gray is now available on a FAT

As with Davis, he’s another who didn’t want to come to our club. I seem to recall that we were in for him under Steve Bruce’s reign and he turned us down for Burnley. My memory might be a little out on the detail and so happy to be corrected on it. However, I vaguely remember feeling the same way about Gray as I do now about Davis.

No - Enob Dicked about trying to get Gray and the full back for £10M when the asking price was £10M for Gray. While dick brain was pissing about, Burnley gazumped us. That was the start of Brucie's relationship with Enob going down the pan.

The full back being Moses Odubajo.

You've just answered your own question. He could have played, along with about 4 or 5 others including Fleming, Longman etc at the end of last season and got a chance to have a run in the team when it was obvious we were safe but miles off anything else.

He has had far less chance than anyone in that squad to adjust to championship football.

He'll get his chance in seasons to come. its not unusual for a player to go out on loan to get a bit of experience is it?

Players find thier level. He wasn't good enough (yet) for Chelsea so he came to us. He's not quite ready for the Championship this season so he gone out on loan.

Whats weird about that? We've signed loads of players and then loaned them out to get experience.

He’s going to get games at Fleetwood, a lot of the teams he comes up against will be better than his, it’s probably better than him joining Derby or Portsmouth.
Good manager there in Scott Brown. Not many better midfield generals than him currently managing that he could learn from.
By some strange coincidence S.T,Brown's been sacked this morning?

And if we’d dropped points in those games, who would you have been blaming for that? I’m sure we all know the answer to that.

He was told differently when he agreed to sign. That's the issue. Its unfair to make a promise and then not play the kid.

I posted at the time it was the right time to play fringe players and kids. I would not give a toss if we lost, I never really do, I got used to losing a long time ago.

Unlike many people I don't go to a game desperate to see a win. I go to be entertained and if we lose then so be it. If we're boring and lose then I get fed up and wonder if the choice i made was the right one.

I don't get supporters who sit there ranting and raving at players or the ref. You can't change a thing other than your chances of high blood pressure so why not just watch the game?

How do you know he was told that, he may have been told we will help develop your game and bring you through when you are ready, maybe he knew he never had a future at Chelsea hence why he wanted to sign a contract here, i suspect he knew he would have to go out on loan for experience.

I was one of the people saying he should be given a chance in the first team but this is probably the right decision in sending him on loan.

I know what he was told. You can believe me or not, doesn't make a difference to me.
