Did he say anything about transfers apart from Philogane?

He said we are close with a GK and a CM, one of them permanent which I presume is the GK as Baz already mentioned we are after a CM on loan.

 

Goalkeeper and midfielder are very close to joining. One loan and one permanent.

 

Fleming, Longman loan interest. Said Fleming in particular needs games.

With Liam wanting 2 players per position, I wonder if we'll bring in Cox once we move Fleming out?

I don't think Greaves is a fullback at all, I'd rather see him in central defence next to Jones.

 

Yeah, and a concern I had since it was raised on the podcast was if we cop a CB injury we're very thin back there as it is.

 

Am I imagining Baz talking about a midfielder who can also play centre back earlier in the window? Would help us.

 

Aren’t hearing anything about it but we lost Figs and haven’t replaced him, we also had like the 4/5th highest xG against us in the champ. I do feel another centre half would significantly improve us alongside this 6, one injury and we are in big trouble.

 

I think bringing in a second left back and chucking out Brandon Fleming allows Greaves to be a centre half and Smith as back up gives us four again.

 

Does anyone know if Cox found another club yet? I thought he looked decent, definitely a step up on Fleming on current form.

 

He is still a free agent.

I’d be after Derry Murkin at FC Volendam, but Schalke are now in for him so probably not.
