Aren’t hearing anything about it but we lost Figs and haven’t replaced him, we also had like the 4/5th highest xG against us in the champ. I do feel another centre half would significantly improve us alongside this 6, one injury and we are in big trouble.
I think bringing in a second left back and chucking out Brandon Fleming allows Greaves to be a centre half and Smith as back up gives us four again.
Does anyone know if Cox found another club yet? I thought he looked decent, definitely a step up on Fleming on current form.
He is still a free agent. I’d be after Derry Murkin at FC Volendam, but Schalke are now in for him so probably not.
I’m still hopeful of some quality surprise loans being announced as a result of some frantic last minute spending by Premier League teams.
