Davis looks like he will be able to play that role LR likes from the ST well but I really think we need another CM. If Woods and Doch don't leave then its not so bad but neither are ideal for what we need in the middle fo the park.
Wonder what we can realistically get for Oscar? 13 last year but I’m still not convinced he can kick a ball properly.

He played against us for Cardiff last season, and was a menace, the only Criticism then was his final ball, but he can certainly go past defenders, and I am sure the final ball delivery will have improved. He had a very good preseason according to Villa fans, he is the real deal IMO.

To be fair it's the athletic that broke Davis' name. Don't think that's been greenlighted by the club like Philogene blatantly was.
Think it’s clear Rosey isn’t keen on Oscar, and I also don’t think Oscar really suits the way we play. I reckon he’ll bang them in at this level playing for a fast counter attacking team.
