It definitely says Jacob, but could be a mistake and that would make sense.

Surely there’s no way they think Jacob was plausible for that money.
If they are bidding that for Jacob it’s scandalous, he’s a top player

I reckon more likely you’re right and it’s actually for his brother.

I did double check it’s on BBC/Sky gossip columns.

Definitely says Jacob but that would be the epitome of derisory.

They got nearly treble that off Chelsea for Chumba, who’s half the player Jacob is.

He’d surely be Gibbs-White money as a minimum

Lovely footballer. Great technical ability. Can see why Pep wants him at City.

The deal is worth the £30m that was rejected last month but with more favourable payment terms and conditions for Southampton.
Talks are ongoing over when the deal can be finalised as it’s believed Saints want him to play against Norwich this weekend. West Ham don’t want him risked ahead of such a big money move.
One source has told Sky Sports News that Ward-Prowse is keen to make the move as soon as possible but would like the chance to say goodbye to the Southampton fans.

Isn't that something like 70m Southampton have brought in last few days? After selling that lad to mags for 40m. Ok they're losing two quality players but that's a lot of spending power before the window shuts.

It's a difficult one to call as surely he has to show some ambition and want to win trophies, staying at Tottenham pretty much guarantees that will not happen.

On the other hand I kind of understand if he wants to wait until his contract is up to have more offers on the table, but he will be 31 by then. Personally I think he should go now while the Bayern offer is on the table.

I think he will end up staying at Spuds and win **** all but score lots of goals. Should go and show some ambition but I doubt he will.
