Surely you're not writing off the player of the season due to that Hartlepool game? Where we have 8 or so players who were playing out of position.

Definitely not, our defence has looked questionable all preseason whichever combination has played. I’m just not making O’Nien the scapegoat for today, it’s obvious his distribution and the way he progresses play is ahead of Bathh and particularly at home where we play on the front foot I can see the thinking. Bellingham miss and Roberts and Clarke not producing just as big factors.

Blaming O’Nein for the first goal is bloody harsh mind, massive deflection otherwise Patterson would have had it covered.

He also cleared one off the line which would have been a certain goal. I get that he has his pros and cons but thought he was ok today. Baath wouldn’t have made a difference for either of the goals.

After a defeat people will be pointing fingers at players. Had we been better up front we would have won today.

We should be questioning why it took so long to show some fight, and that’s the team as a whole not individuals.
It's very harsh. To blame o9 for first goal is just daft. We created absolutely **** all but nobody questions the forward players. Yet again we've got absolutely nothing in final third.

Thats what I was meaning. Hemir struggled but both Clarke and Roberts were really poor, Bellingham showed glimpses but he’s only a kid.

Thought L09 had a good game. His passing was excellent. His pace allowed us to play a higher defensive line as we chased the game.

Don’t think you can blame him at all for the first goal. The second goal he could have done better, but great movement/pass/finish. I wouldn’t assume Batth deals with that as a lack of pace in behind is one of his weaknesses.

I get that our fans want individuals to blame, but don’t think it’s necessary. It was a close game of football. We didn’t play well as a collective in the 2nd half until we went down to 10 men. If we can bring in one or two forward players with quality, and a defensively minded midfielder, we will be in an excellent position.

Our club management want to get promoted in 2-3 years. Ppl can moan all they like but unless you have 10 million to give to the club to be spent on ready made proven quality players, this is our strategy and we are gonna stick to it. L09 deserves the shirt, although I expect Ballard, Seelt, Triantis, L09 to be our best CBs come the end of the season (in that order).

Pressure is always on recruitment teams, but no need to panic after 1 result

Theyll know what we need to do to improve the team

Ill wait till the end of the window to judge how i think we look n whether we are short or not

Yes of course end of the window.... agreed

But its obvious with Amad missing, goals and the triangle with Roberts and Hume is lacking.

Its been months now, plenty of time to sort the Striker problem out. Ie line up replacements or get the LND stalement resolved.

Thing is until LND is fit and ready to play it's a moot argument

Not panicking. We were the better team today, but caught lacking very much in the final third. Need reinforcements, I’m sure they will come. But they can’t wait too long, every game crucial in this division.
