It's finding a club who play football who'll give him minutes and are happy to blood an unproven youngster
Great. So now we’ve lost one of our best/most exciting young attacking talents. This is the worst ****ing transfer window ever.
Yeah, I don’t think they genuinely have an issue with Jarvis. More so that they’re annoyed at the idea that they’ll become a club for Hull City’s academy to do their work experience. They expect transfers that will improve them in the long-term and who can blame them?
I don’t think we’ll bother if they won’t improve us, so I would expect them to be fringe players for Roma.
Am I right in thinking the Irish league finishes in November, so effectively this is a half season loan? Personally, I'd have kept him and sent them Longman.
Is that a big issue in that league? Never heard of that happening to be fair - no more than the ****e that happens everywhere. I've always had a great time in Dublin - religion/nationality never been an issue/hang up for me. EDIT - unless I'm missing something, are these 3 players openly protestant or are they in the not giving a **** camp like most people?
Does that mean they’ll be back here in November? So can’t have another loan? And won’t be in our squad for the season?
It’s nowhere near as polarising in the Republic these days compared to Northern Ireland. People still resent the British Empire and even the English to an extent in the Republic but it’s nothing like Northern Ireland.
