What on earth does Acun’s reach in Israel have to do with Keane and Delap being an odd pairing?

Don't have an opinion on Keane, but aint at all surprised our potential loan signings old man has almost certainly had some prior exposure with the umbrella company which controlls us.

2 years ago we weren't going to Man C for loans and getting names like Delap suggested. Put it that way.

I was just saying it was ridiculous to say that he'd take us for a ride and promise not to be injured in order to get a contract, whilst actually carrying a serious injury that people on here are aware of but the club aren't. That's exactly what the post I quoted was inferring, and it was entirely ridiculous.

I'm not expecting you to "trust the process" entirely, although on the whole I very much do personally. I could understand concerns that our apparent activity so far doesn't seem quite as promising as we might have hoped, following the talk of players who've been promoted from this level before. I think Delap and Vinagre both seem like gambles for various reasons. But the Vinagre achilles thing has just got way out of hand today. Someone posted a single short quote from 2 months ago and now on the back of that he's been diagnosed with a torn achilles by the Not606 medical staff and ruled out until the winter. If we are indeed signing him, then he clearly doesn't have a torn achilles.
Two words

1 player: Jimmy bullard.

1 chairman: Paul Duffen

'accidentally' paid double the money that was agreed pre-contract according to himself.

Nowt dodgy about that deal at all was there?

I still wonder who Tom Cairneys 'unofficial agent' was at the time he left.

Actually I don't wonder. But the club got ****ed royally on both deals and i'm still struggling to see the coincidence.

Are you intoxicated Orange old chap? This online bickering is making you look foolish. Go and have a lay down and try and relax.

No direct personal challeges here except in response.

Maybe you should send that DM to Chazz on tinder you've been thinking about?

He's clearly in a vacuous state.

You might have an advantage.

Every ****ing player gets injured at some point.

Most do, indeed. So no need to make it even tougher on ourselves by signing them if they already have injuries!

As OLM said, if Vinagre is signing he probably didn't need surgery, but having not played a competitive game in half a season is still cause for concern. And as I'd said earlier, it's not like it was a twisted ankle, an achilles is a pretty serious injury that can linger. Guess we'll see.

I'm sure our astute medical staff are on top of things just as they were when we signed Salah, Ebiowei, Traore etc..

By your logic, we should be getting rid of Traore as he's obviously just on borrowed time before he gets crocked again

Funny, I thought a discussion thread was about challenging views?

Obviously if snowflakes can't handle. Rationale without resorting to personal, attack then it saysore about them than me.

As I'm sure you'd agree yourself old chap.

Is that my logic? Funny old interpretation.

Here's a hint: Traore has just played half a season just about for us and has held up well. Vinagre hasn't started much less played 90 minutes since 2022 in the League Cup. Touch of difference between the two.

Contrast that with when we signed Traore who at the time hadn't played a minute in six months due to an injury and.. got himself injured in his first session with us.
