What you describe is proper, hard nosed aggressive test match cricket. We can probably beat most sides playing kamikaze cricket, but Australia are just too good and streetwise imo. England are confused imho, for all it's worth. Playing a hybrid of test and T20 cricket might win you games against lesser teams, but Australia is keeping to a test match format and ruffling England feathers, or should that be mane? Bazball ain't working! (So far anyway).
