Leicester signings Conor Coady and Harry Winks.

I know they have parachute payments but definitely feels like the relegated clubs this year aren't going to be as basket-case as normal
Agreed. That’s two very good signings for this level I reckon.

Agree with what folks are saying about winks, overrated for me - only seen him play 5 or 6 good games

Coady is ok but struggles in a back 4, hes so much better in a 3 so not too worried about him

The 3 teams coming down should be the strongest by far but its all about how they adapt. Leicester losing a lot of players but think the likes of iversen, dewsbury-hall, thomas and cowdhury will do really well at championship level

Southampton im just not sure about, martin is a decent manager but not sure if hes a winner that can get a team over the line - depends who they keep n sell

Leeds, work with 2 lads who are massive leeds fans both arent confident at all this yr - both saying they are a basket case of a club at the min

Agree with all (similar convos with a Leeds pal and a lad on holiday)

Martin teams always look decent but don’t have killer instinct and not sure how Saints players will adapt.

Definitely see Leicester as ones to beat as it stands, but signings like Winks are fine by me.

Be surprised if Dewsbury-Hall still there might be moves for him. He’d make a lot of sense for Brentford/West Ham

Dewsbury-hall is quality and will be a stand out in the championship - he has the right attitude as well

Leicester losing most of their creativity so they need to replace that plus losing a lot of depth and have an unproven manager

So many teams have question marks over them this season which makes it even more exciting

Leicester will be who I’m going with the for league. Going to put them in a treble with L1/L2 winner but waiting to see how transfer business plays out. More than likely Wrexham or Notts County for L2.

Sunderland and Chelsea daft double 400/1 :emoticon-0103-cool:

Leicester also apparently in talks to sign Piroe from Swansea. Thought he would’ve followed Martin to Southampton.

I like a pre season accy on each division for a bit of interest. Waiting to see at the minute. Fancy safc for top 6 but winning it a push.
Leicester with coady and Evans sounds a really solid base but they could both be injured for long spells which would hurt their chances looking at a couple of the jokers they had in defence last season.

The championship is always a tough league, on paper its def harder but never know until the season starts

Think a few teams are struggling financially which will help us

Im looking forward to it, as long as we improve then we have a great chance to finish in the top 6 again
It’s harder but it’s harder for everyone and that usually evens it out somewhat.

Who do you reckon in league one?

Piroe would be a decent signing. Overall though Leicester have an ageing squad of premier league players- we’ve seen what that can become in this league. I think they might struggle.

I agree. But so will everyone else that was around us last season. Millwall, Blackburn etc. Surely likes of Norwich and Watford won't be as bad as last season either. If you offered me 6th now I'd probably take it.

Me too on the basis we are down a Diallo as it stands. If he came back we are a top 3 proposition all of a sudden.

Possibly someone with a name beginning in E and ending in H? Wearing red and white?

For me mate, if we can continue the flowing football the 2 wing backs and front 3 are capable of, but now have that physical edge, we are a ****ing force.

Looks to me like Bellingham going to play, making the wingers all important and a fit Cirkin massive.

Jobe is a unit, and with Ekwah behind I’d laugh at Winks.

2 quality CB’s won’t help anyone if it’s quick, tight control wingers who can both finish cutting in. Coady and Evans ain’t gonna stop that happening.

Semedo could be so key to the season.

Here’s a one, how many ‘best in position in league’ do we reckon we have?

Patto close
Cirkin easily ( assuming Livaramento goes)
Roberts left sided winger easily
Stewart up top (if here)
Ballard is up there.

We have some players for the level for sure. Boro are weaker as it stands, Norwich signings I’d be mortified by, Watford have little left that you’d envy.

3 down, Millwall, Boro, Coventry, West Brom & Stoke (yeah, I think they be decent)

6 from those 9 is tight. CM we aren’t weak there, but you could see some being stronger there. That’s our battle.
