I would like Ipswich away up first, for no other reason than I really like Portman Road and think it'd be a good one in the sun.

On a more serious note, I think it could be handy to play away to start with and get a result under our belts (hopefully!) before RM's first home game.

I'd like to avoid popular away games such as QPR and Plymouth early on so I've got time to add a few away games to my account beforehand.

Not that bothered after that really. Just need to hope that we're at home when I'm on holiday.

New kit, new manager and new fixtures tomorrow. Too much excitement for 1 week.

Also EFL Cup draw.

28. Southampton v 25. Portsmouth please

I'd rather avoid a derby early on tbh as it might take us a while to settle with lots of changes. We can have that in the FA Cup instead in the new year.

To think there were people who wanted us to draw them in the FA Cup this year... Can you imagine <yikes>

That would be a very lose-able first game. Much prefer Rotherham at home.

Chances are either us, Leeds or Leicester will be involved in the Friday night game to kick off the season.

I think they'll get a sizeable audience regardless - it will be the first proper game in months.

True but it'd be foolish to not stick Leeds on a TV game for the first weekend imo as they'll attract more than any other club.
