He has signed for the Brentford B team squad, the B team don't play in any league format, they just play in cup competitions and friendly matches.

I hope he is better at football than his brother is at cooking.Which will not be difficult as I am.

Not really any different to singing for the youth team at any club.

They’ve got a good track record of bringing players through, five ‘B’ players made first team debuts last season and two have been promoted to the first team for next season.

My point wasn't that all forwards have lesser passing stats, it was that as a forward, your passing stats are heavily dependant on how often you get the ball and the one thing that Oscar's low number of passes shows is that he doesn't get the ball very often, which we know. Someone else posted his completion percentage and it wasn't too bad, but you ignored that.

You mention his stats at his previous club as evidence that it's not just a problem of how much City get the ball to him, but 35th percentile really isn't terrible so it doesn't indicate anything at all.

It seems like you've got an opinion which you're trying to prove with stats that don't particularly support it unless you really want them to.

I think we've had celebrated strikers in the past who've been worse than Oscar at build-up play and not been scrutinised to anything like this extent.

We’ve got to remember as well Magennis and Eaves probably played with better forwards in their time too…

First season they had Bowen and Turbo til January. Then they both looked terrible.

Second season was both of them at their level.

Third season they had KLP and Honeyman who was always nearby to get the ball off of them soon.

For large parts of this season, particularly when Oscar was receiving the most criticism, it’s when he was the loan striker with central midfielders occupying every other position outside the defence. His weakness is in his hold up but had that period not happened with injuries etc I don’t think he’d be criticised near as much. He’s quite young, was thrown straight in without much pre season with other forwards so we’ll see how it goes. Few acting like players can’t improve…

So we've gone from having our targets identified and wanting to get our business done early, to our targets getting better offers and we're now playing the waiting game for our second and third choices.

I’m not particularly worried but it’s worth mentioning that Bristol City have signed three very good players who will improve their squad already. That’s what I would consider getting business done early. I don’t think Rosenior’s goal of getting most of his 5-6 targets in before returning to pre-season is likely.

i don’t agree with this, no where near as bad as an Allam window. That season we went up we signed some absolute ****e. We got a couple wrong last year but a good few have become important players for us and improved us as a side. Once more deadwood gets moved along and a few more of quality in under Rosie for a full year I see us pushing top half. A far cry from sitting 20th with McCann with J Magennis up top.

I think you're right that it's unlikely we'll have our business done for the start of pre-season, but it won't be for want of trying. Just seems to be the reality of the modern transfer market.

How can you say it won’t be for want of trying
As far as I can see the club has said absolutely nothing about transfers
    Who were after or anything
