I'll add it to the list of 'things that we don't speak about when it's Labour but fill several pages of thread with when it's a Tory' then

Slowly but surely we're setting the rules for the next government....

Labour are looking at allowing EU migrants to vote. They'll be shooting themselves in the foot with that one. Can't imagine all the northern racist Brexit labour voters will be happy with that.

Protesters disrupt The Haunted Pencil and the one of the few non white people allowed to be racist at conferences this afternoon.

Now we know why it's so quiet here today. Let us know when you get released boys.

I'll still be voting Labour as its the only realistic chance to replace the current government. Are Labour perfect? Christ no. Will it be better? Who knows, will it be worse? Also who knows but it would take something unbelievably drastic to get to the low depths of the current government when it comes to outright lies, cronyism and their basic assumption that non-elite public members are ****ing morons.

Also, the only people who should be able to vote are UK citizens. Simple as that. Nothing to do with race or where you are from etc, if you were a migrant and have since been granted citizenship then you get a vote. It's a daft thing to try and bring in.

And finally if any MP at all, no matter the party, has been accused of any kind of assault they should be suspended.

Also its probably quiet as most people are on the football threads.

Its nice to think about something other than how ****e most peoples lives are and how poor the majority of people in this country are while MP's pay multiple millions in cash for their new homes.

It's noticeable that the resident #### ######### and Boris man-crush boys are posting more on here but not the match thread, they couldn't really care less about SAFC, just pretend to so they can be 'one of the lads' ...

... they only post on here cos they couldn't handle a real political forum. They come on here to make ignorant comments and lick each other's arses <laugh>
#### ######### is a tad OTT marra, banter is good for this board but that's taking it a bit too far for my liking?

Glad to edit if need be.

If people insist on continually calling people racists, without any justification, they've ripped up the rulebook imo ...

... that's a pretty serious accusation without the slightest justification.

Live by the sword etc.

I'd rather take a life ban than edit it tbh.

Ok, you can take a one week ban. Comment deleted.

Smug has mentioned on more than one occasion, the Brexit vote was a racist vote. What I said was clearly a play on his words.

Let's just leave it there. Whatever way you look at it. It was completely OTT by him.

A lot of posts are deliberately antagonistic so let’s all just calm down a bit, especially when it comes to politics and Brexit etc.

Personally I don’t think a ban is the correct thing mind if nobody complained, even if it was over the top, post removed and a warning would do. There’s a danger it will turn into a competition to see who can get which posters banned first.

That would be a bit unfair on those of us who know where the line is, I think.

Let's not turn it into the equivalent of over the road when one side can break the rules repeatedly and the other isn't allowed to defend itself.

Agreed, was just an observation based on the timing
