Yeah it was obvious at the time that Onuachu was a Jones signing, as was Bree. Neither have really had a sniff under Selles. Whether that is because they are **** or Selles wanting to move away from Jones ball completely who knows.

I didn’t like the Onuachu signing at the time, but I acknowledged we needed some help at striker and he was possibly the only option. We haven’t bothered playing him so we should’ve just kept our money

Bree will prove to be a good signing for the Championship. I am not convinced that Jones had much say in who we signed. What I find interesting is that no one is checking on the temperment of the people we employ. Jones was crazy and I think the likes of Orcic and Celeta-Car are probably a bit precious. For me, we should be looking at personalities when we bring new people in as opposed to being seduced by their potential. This is why I am convinced that Selles is only picking from a limited pool of players as the others are not reliable and do not want to be here. I would say that there is a good 50% he either does not trust or does not believe to be up to the job. Whiever comes in to manage in the summer, this will certainly not be allowed to persist and I feel that the squad for next seaon will look very unfamiliar indeed. There are currently too many players who are either not up to the right standard or who are mercenaries / bad apples.

To be fair to Tall Paul I think he is being harshly judged by many when in reality he has barely had a sniff of a chance.
He looked threatening the one time that anyone gave him any decent service when JWP crossed and he hit the bar from a header but Ruben simply doesn't believe in peppering the box with crosses (i'm still not sure what his attacking strategy actually is!..).
The big man scored bucket loads in Belgium so he clearly knows where the net is and I can remember a couple of strikers that struggled to score after they first signed for us, Graziano Pelle and "One Goal" JRod and they turned out ok.
I honestly think that Paul's size is prejudicing people against him, he could be a valuable asset if utilised correctly in my view.

Big Paul is too static for this. I think he is not fast enough or strong enough for Route One. As I said, I think that he is another dud like Augustin Delgardo and just sense we will try to off load at the first chance.

Any manager who comes in will probably find that he only has about 25% of the current playing staff on his books. I think there will be a massive exodus but, to be honest, I think there are only a few like Perraud who have been committed this season and who I would miss.

I think Delgado had the ability to be a class player for us. It is a shame he turned out to be a whinging lazy Tw*t because I think he could have been class.

Agreed. He clearly doesn’t fit into Selles the idiots plan.

I think it’s ****ing mental. You should build the team around what you have available, not your ideals.

He is trying to play like Man City with ****ing Adam Armstrong and Elyounoussi.

Build your team around tall paul. He’s a big finisher - get pace around him and off him, so he doesn’t have to run and see what we can do.

Obviously now Che is back we have a proven option but the last few weeks has been ridiculous. Adam Armstrong is not the ****ing answer.

I wouldn't be surprised if we went back in for Marsch. By all accounts the reason why it fell through before was before we were only willing to give him a contract until the end of the season (and so why give up his severance pay from Leeds for that). Presumably whoever we appoint this time we'll be looking to give them a two or three year contract. Not sure I'd be jumping for joy at the prospect of him managing us, mind you.

It's not going to be Potter or Rodgers. No chance.

Forest have a nailed on three points coming their way on 8 May. So if they can find one other win from somewhere (and away to Chelsea isn't looking too terrifying right now), that might just be enough to keep them up - and hence keep Cooper out of our reach.

I don't think West Ham will sack Moyes.

Lampard is doing a cracking job of scaring off potential new suitors.

I suppose Dyche might be back on the market, should he fail to keep Everton up. But if we didn't want him when we're at the bottom end of the PL, we surely wouldn't go anywhere hear him when we're looking to be at the top end of the Championship.

If Leeds come down with us, they'll be looking for a new manager too. The same with Leicester.

Forest and Everton I'm less sure about, but neither would surprise me at all if they sacked Cooper/Dyche.

Getting relegated earlier than the other two might give us a small headstart in that race to make an appointment.

Watford, naturally, will also be looking for a new manager. But you would like to think that they shouldn't present us with too much competition.

If Livramento is fit and can regain his form, there is no way Saints will retain him. For my money, he was one of the best players we had last season. Anyone half decent will have left by August.

I'd be very surprised if someone was to spend £25m-ish on a player who hasn't played in over a year.

In my books, he's one of the ones likely to stay.
