    Is this too early?

Selles surely isn’t going to be it long term (at least I hope not), so hopefully SR are now well into evaluating candidates…

    Anyhow, two questions really.

    Who do you want?

    Who is likely?

In my case i’d want Cooper or Potter, but we aren’t getting those.

Probably a reasonable chance of Patrick Viera given the clubs hard on for staff with a connection to City Group.

Think SR will go big - relatively speaking of course for the Champorado. I think we can expect a 'name'. Let's face it, they have to get someone decent in, to appease Lincoln and Os.

Anyone else think that Roy Hodgson would get us firing again?

Because of the City Group connection I’m pretty much digging through a list of their managers and ex managers.

Viera is the one I think most likely.

Oriel’s current boss Míchel is doing very well at Girona, might be a bit of a stretch to move from 10th in La Liga to the Championship though.

If we wanted to try and replicate Ange Postecoglu, Kevin Muscat is doing a very good job in Japan, although he had a Nathan Jonesesque stint in Belgium beforehand.

Why is Potter suddenly so unattainable exactly?

Had a couple of alright seasons with Brighton, got his chance with a big club, and completely blew it.

Clubs that could be after him this summer: West Ham, Palace, Leicester.

If none of those come in for him then it will have to be Championship or abroad.

Just don't really understand the big wow about him really.

What about Ted Lasso? That's if Sabrina Wiegman won't take the job.

Nah, not a mistake. The timing and the replacements, sure.

Sorry to disagree but no. I think we need to look back over the last season and a half to see just how much his last months tenure has contributed to the present situation.

What if he gets to work from scratch, young players and getting to buy his own players and can implement his style with his players

To put it another way we wouldn't be 6 points adrift facing certain relegation had we kept Ralph until the end of the season
